Grab a bunch of mates, and play D&D in front of a fireplace. Can't go wrong with that. Or use the Fudge System. Or Dogs In The Vineyard.

Or, if you have no mates/can't get to them, just go online, and download a load of Oblivion/Unreal Tournament mods. Then play them, play them until you... Beat them/get bored of them and thus, go off and get more.

Max Payne 2. It's good training for your will to live.
And GTA IV+ San Andreas. Sandbox games are good for rainy days.

Usually Paper Mario, going about, collecting all the badges and star pieces, doing some grind just because. If I finish that, I'll do the same for the next two games in the series. Once completely done, I'll start over. Either those, or Super Mario Galaxy, and collect some luigi stars.

But I live in Ireland so it is much better to ask what is my sunny day game.
Same here. It rains so much all I can do is play games.

But mine would be Rock Band or Call of Duty

I'd have to put another vote on "Morrowind" as well. I grew up on "Daggerfall" and while I think that is still the best of the four Elder Scroll games, "Morrowind" is still more stable (in my opinion) and has just a plethora of mods like Oblivion. Oblivion is fine, though I thought it was kind of like a 'lite' version of Morrowind. *shrugs*

Recently I got my hands on "Depths of Peril" for the PC and that is turning out to be a really great "diablo/WoW" like game to play randomly.

What I love to do is take an old RPG like Baldur's Gate, Fallout or Planescape and roll up a new character. When I'm completely satisfied with the character I just start rolling a new one. I do the same with pen & paper RPGs such as DND or Shadowrun. I have a whole pile of character sheets, along with background stories, collecting dust.
I do that too!
I don't know why it's so fun, plus I hardly ever actually play with the characters I roll.

Damn, beaten to the punch.

RE4 is definitely mine. I can pick a save where my infinite ammo weapons and stockpiles of G+R herbs give me a sense of security, or I can attempt the game with only a handgun and whimper as those monks get closer to me. Lots of variety.

What ever I have that I have not beaten. Nothing I love more than rain outside and video games inside.
