Your thoughts on random friend requests

I turn down friend requests from people that just saw me and decided to try and friend me. I don't ever friend strangers that I've only just seen once or twice. People gotta talk to me and try to be a friend before I add them or let them add me.

If you accept a stranger's friend request, are they still a stranger?
