I found out about wasted on steam [http://wastedonsteam.com], which calculates your total steam time and your playtime/cost ratio. It's quite good but it only calculates based on the normal price.

You also have to take into account that Steam has only been counting the time spent on games since March '09. So if you started playing before it'd be even more than that.

And considering the amount of massive sales and the very noticeable price changes after the switch to Euros (of course irrelevant for everyone else) the cost numbers would be highly inaccurate.

But the point is that it skews the value accordingly. If you bought it for $50 and played for 50 hours, that's 1 dollar an hour. But if you bought it for $25 and played for 50 hours, that's $.50 an hour, which is an even greater value.

Oh I see where I went wrong, I was looking at it as time for cost rather than cost for time.

There's a huge glitch though. Counter-Strike: Source is missing, it says there's only 1 hour played, when actually there should be 1672 hours. Those are not counted in for some reason. That would change everything regarding the stats.

Steam profile also says I have 152 games, instead of 76, so this clearly isn't working like it should.

I. AM. CHEAAAAPPPSKAAAATEEEE. Seriously, I get that much enjoyment out of the games I have and I buy the indie bundles for a decent amount. (if I have the game already I give them to others)

Sadly my most played game is Terraria but it's mainly because my 8 year old brother got OBSESSED WITH IT. So I'd let him play it while I was doing other things. He logged alot of hours.

This, however, completely leaves out my time spent in Eve Online, which is 1419 hours and counting. The site also adds costs for expansion packs, but adds no playtime for them (I guess that would be added to the original game, but still...)

If I added my time in Eve (which I don't pay RL$ for. Thank goodness for plex), the actual hours played would be 6,381.2 hours and my cost/hour would be about $0.30

My entertainment dollar is extremely efficient... and this site doesn't even factor in that I either bought most of my games as they were on sale, or were gifts from friends.
