This. I am a different person, now, a revised and improved version of my younger self. It is regrettable but inevitable that I would have made decisions back then that I would look back on with disdain now.
That's kind of the point of being a child, growing and learning, don't trash it because some memories are embarrassing or not to your liking. Of course you'll look back with disdain now, you've got the benefit of hindsight, but with hindsight often comes an uptight attitude, which is not necessarily an improvement.
OP: My worst memory? I got 3 of them and it's the same everytime. After doing something rather stupid (i.e. play-fighting with big brother and getting out of control/riding bike down steps) ending up in A&E having to get stitches. Good times. Doesn't happen so often anymore.
