Also, Statik's right, Vikings beat down every other large, often violent group of people or objects that you can think of. Yahtzee should totally review Viking to save me the trouble of renting it, since it only needs one more nail in the coffin after all the other shit I've heard.
Surprisingly enough, despite all the shit that it's gotten...it's still a pretty nice action romp. Yes, I have it and I was surprised myself as well.

i was expecting runescape after the cohan review oh well
or EVE since that's advertised here like crazy as well... oh wait Ninja Gaiden 2 was also...

If Yahtzee hated the living shit out of the witcher and called it a game for smart people then if he even has his eyes open during the tutorial for EVE then I'll be surprised.

I gotta say not my favorite. Probably because I am not a fan of the series, and also because I did feel the Lucas, masturbating kid, and sexy man comments were all just a little too nonsequitor (and other words I don't know how to spell) and frequent, it jarred me away to readily.

Take with a grain of salt, job interview day makes me a little grouchy, and it was still a quality piece (even if it is not on my top ten yahtzee vids list).

I do want more often ZP, a week is murder. Well, I guess that's what makes it special... big hugs

Yahtzee is getting ok again, after watching his older videos and his newer ones I've concluded that all he wants to do is rant rather then review these days. This review was a little more fleshed out then his previous 5, which is good. I enjoyed this, I didn't really burst out laughing like I did with the Zelda review, nor did I really crack a smile. I knew some of it was funny, but it was kind of boring this review.

That's just what I thought anyway, but he's certainly on the rise again.

I guess I would have to ask if you've played the games for the reviews you didn't find funny. There are a couple of games that I saw the ZP review for before playing them, thought the reviews were alright, but not great; then when I did get around to playing the games, the reviews were that much better.
I have indeed played the game, did I like it? Yes I did, I like playing games that reward players for putting the time in. I've played almost all the games Yahtzee has reviewed, all I'm saying is that this review just wasn't as good as his older ones in my opinion, but it is an improvement over his newer ones. That's all.

Hahahah - Silly aussies. It's 'Rit-uh-Lin', not 'right-ah-lin'

EDIT: Sorry, didn't realize i was beaten to that punch.
And your tarring all of us with the same brush as Yahtzee cause..?

Yahtzee is not that indicative of Australians (no duh). A large portion of us understand that the people Nathan Drake were fighting were all Indonesians (and not "an assorted collection of Blacks, Asians and Latinos" - white supremacy indeed, he's just fighting pirates)
I don't know if you could call it TARRING...poking a little fun at the way a country pronounces a word? The fact of the matter is though, America is always right, and I feel obligated to point out to the rest of the world the error of their ways. There is no 'u' in 'color', 'ritalin' is pronounced as 'rid-uh-lin', and, unlike Australians, we never ever eat dogs. Unless you count communist pig-dogs. Like Australians.
If america is always right, then Earth shouldn't exist. I've never eaten a dog in my entire life, and i haven't ever heard of anyone in Australia doing so. They eat cats and dogs in China, is that what you were refering too? Why is your economy falling apart and ours is still up high hmm? We spell colour with a u in it, deal with it.

Please do you research and come up with more valid arguments. (Sorry to other americans but this post annoyed me)
But you ARE communist pig dogs, correct?
Sorry but this post annoyed me too much for me not to reply to it. I myself am from England, which in case you didn't know was where the language ENGLISH originated. It's America that misspells words like coloUr and honoUr, not quite sure why by the way. Don't get me wrong I've got nothing against a country spelling words differently if they want to, it's just when idiots like this think their way of spelling/pronouncing certain words is the ONLY correct way to do so, its just not cool. I know Shinkada already made this point but I just wanted to post it in direct response to this moron.

By the way does anyone know why they're spelled differently? Might be interesting is all. (a little off topic I know)

It's scary how the Japanese think all we want is violence, tits and insane difficulty. But when i think about it most games i've played have had a combernation of these, so the Japanese actually know us quite well it seems.

I'm in 2 minds in this game. Like Yahtzee pointed out how can you be anrgy at a game thats made to be hard , But the game doesnt have overly simple parts too like most boss fights. Good review as always and i belive snotlings beat pirates hands down.

I think you missed the point of what I was saying - someone overreacted about me laughing over the differences in pronunciation of certain words throughout the world, so I figured I'd give him something to overreact about. Take a chill pill man - it's just a joke.

Also, this is why americans spell it differently -

If so then I take back what I said. I can see how you might have meant it to be a joke but its kinda hard to tell when you're just reading text and don't have a tone of voice to judge it by. If you mean it to be a joke then maybe a :p or ;) might help. Thanks for the article btw.

P.S. I don't mean it to sound so serious :)

Pirates are *clearly* the superior of both Vikings, Knights and Ninjas.

Anywho, stellar review, as always. I played the game for about an hour, and after my eighteenth death, I pretty much gave up.
Ninja's don't need a ship and all the acutraments like cannonballs and supplies, they just kill you dead in double quick time.

Pirates will always be better than ninjas. It's not as if a trained group of elite pirates never had anything else to do than take care of a garden while their leader surrendered... Oh wait, that happened to actual ninjas in real Japanese history!

I thought this review was good, personally I enjoyed Ninja Gaiden, even though there were moments where I wanted to break the controller during that game. Even then, I refuse to play the game on the Acolyte setting.

The funniest ZP in a while, I think. I have to agree with the many negative views on the closing analogy, but I like the thought of whether difficult games were made to have bad design. Honestly, it's like what Yahtzee said in No More Heroes: any designer who sacrifices gameplay for [insert relevance here] is stuck so far up his ass he's in danger of choking on his own head.

I also liked "KILL THEY ASS" and "None of that Zelda...(Erm *Huff*) applesauce..." Very funny bits.
