I'm glad a lot more people get to enjoy this game. I got a Wii U at launch that I eventually sold, and for the year I had it I called it the ZombiU player. It's kind of like a first person older Resident Evil meets Binding of Isaac and Dark Souls, it doesn't fuck around with you and it looking like shit actually made the atmosphere kind of depressing.

If they fix the cricket bat/melee combat and I can adjust the FoV on PC (that was my problem with the U version), I'm definitely picking this up.

Good. I got a WiiU and wanted to play this game, but the second I saw how the controls worked with the WiiU controller, I was like, "no way".
What was wrong with the controllers?

If you think there were motioncontrolls in this game you're, mostly, wrong. The only times when you "motioned" the gamepad in anyway was with turrets, sniping and when opening locks to watch the surroundings, and that was rare. The main thing the gamepads screen was used for was to quickly change inventory and as a minimap.

Or was it the lack of motions that put you of? THAT would be even more rare xD
The thing that mostly bothered me was the part of how you aimed when you got a gun. It looked extremely awkward.

I don't know what you have been watching, but when I played ZombiU on my WiiU and got a gun, I controlled it with the right analog stick, like in 98% of the shooters around. The controlls were like in any other CoD, Battlefield or Halo game when shooting a normal gun. As stated above, the only different controlls were with turrets and snipers, and those were rare.
