Definitely chuckled quite a bit at this one.

Say what you will about Zone-San's content, I've always thought he was pretty wasted as an animator just doing porn flash. Glad he's doing more than that now.

EDIT: errr..just occurred to me that including a warning that googling Zone-San might be NSFW would be a good thing. hindsight rocks.

Oh great, it look like that random comment I've read saying that Zone tan (his/ her mascot) could be a background character in the Skullgirls game is no longer in the realm of impossible.

I kind of suprised that they actually took the creator in as I'm pretty sure the other creators that Zone has made his/ her "work" on in the past would be angry against Zone for making rule 34 on their characters (or shrug about it and do nothing as it is a parody I guess).

Still I cannot denine that Zone is impressive at recreating the show artstyle while adding in his/her own "work" into it without being too obvious being put into it.

Really? I did not know that... I know Zone-Tan is female, but I've never known the sex of Zone-San/Zone-Sama. I assumed it was male because...well..how many girls do you know who make flash porn?

On one side. Great for him. It has been a long time coming for Zone to actually be offered an job that utilizes his talents. Glad to see that people can be picked for their portfolio regardless of the content.

On the other side...wonder what is going to happen to his site? Zone's got a lot of lurkers man. Zerg lurkers.

Also that article is terrible in terms of it's quip with dead or alive. From constant breast reductions in the series to simple pandering there has been zero pornography in that series. It's all been fan made by people like Zone.

Well I doubt he'll abandon it completely. you never know, he might even find his imagination stimulated from this new creative endeavor, and he will redouble his noble(naughty) interactive flash animation works.

Well, if nothing else; at least Zone is good at what (s)he does.
It's not as if this could be a bad thing for the studio really, except for maybe some flak from certain internet-goers.

Yeah - it's been a quite a while so I can't remember exact details on a source to cite, but I'm pretty sure she clarified it on Newgrounds once or twice. Also, I'd swear her (unsure if current) girlfriend Natsume (also an artist of similar content) refers to Zone as female. I haven't been keeping up with Zone for years though.
