I ask this because I found one for me, "You can't get mad at someone for breaking a window if the only door is on the roof." This is how I feel trying to get a hold of most of the Ultra series. I like the series but fucking Christ are they hard to find with subtitles outside of four series for sure on Crunchyroll. In case someone here reads that and thinks I'm just complaining to complain now, Ultraman is a world record holder for how many series there are in the franchise. Four series out of fuck knows how many is not a good ratio. The only other way is Youtube, however, that is only reliable now but I really don't trust the way those floorboards are creaking I'll tell you that. What I mean by that is at any point a series can be pulled very suddenly because it wasn't approved by daddy Tsuburaya.

I've always liked "Variety is the spice of life and status quo is the starch." Makes me imagine life is this spicy bun roll, like a cinnamon bun.
Delicious.

"On the planet of the arseholes, which one do you choose take shelter in when the inevitable fartstorm approaches."

It may be paraphrased but it still is relevent for various reasons.

"...at this point I'm going to be very disappointed if it doesn't turn out to be a cutesy euphemism for lesbian cunnilingus yes I went there."

True for pretty much every time I hear a new phrase.

"But as the disbelieving friend said to the inventor of the feces-powered helicopter, "This shit will not fly!""

This is me: Basically every time somebody ignorant on some issues tries to talk to me whenever they bring said issues up, along with a lot of stupid ideas that come my way on a regular basis.

"I am a banana." How I describe my day-to-day life if I haven't done anything worth mentioning...

"Awwwwwwwwwwwwww. . . Grrrrrrrrrrr. . . Awwwwwwwwwwww. . . Grrrrrrrrrrr. . . Awwwwwwwwwwww. . ." If I done something worthwhile that day, but the negative balances it all out to make the day feel neutral again...

"Graphics are like public toilet cleaners: you know they are doing their job properly if you never notice or think about it"

As I like to play old great games, I tend to not notice how dated the graphics look in them, and I just enjoy the game. Also no one notice when I do a good job at work; but only when I do a bad job (and no, I'm not a toilet cleaner).

"When you're about to burn your bridges, be sure the other two aren't about to spontaneously combust."
I can have some exceptionally poor decision making.

"That opportunity was sticking its six-foot-wide ass in the air and you still missed it!"
--Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon

That doesn't necessarily describe my life, but I find myself using it a lot.

Also his quip of all modern games looking like you're viewing them through a used coffee filter. Why must everything realistic be brown and grey?! And why must everything take place at sunset?!

"Never stick your dick in a pudding. It might still be a perfectly good pudding and you could spend ages arguing it, but nobody will want to eat it because you stuck your dick in it."

This is one of my favorite quotes of all time. Sometimes, the good just doesn't outweigh the bad. Sometimes, a small error ruins everything even if the rest is perfect. I try to keep this in mind when I write gameplay ideas, or really anything; Nothing is perfect, but if its' one flaw outweighs everything else, re-think your ideas and start again.

"It's about people nobody likes doing things that nobody cares about"

To this date, I still can't think of a better insult/description for pretty much anything. It even replaced one I previously used from MST3K which went "It's about nothing and stars nobody. I hope you choke on it"(no, I don't remember the movie being described).

I've rarely used it, because I've rarely come across something I found that terrible, but every so often.....

?It stars nobody and features nothing. I hope you gag on it.? - MST3K, Track of the Moon Beast

OT: "That shit's bollocks, and furthermore that bollocks is shit."

I'm a cynic and a snarky sort of guy. Calling bullshit and running with it sort of is a thing for me.

-I am often considered too analytical because I ask the question of why I care. Investment is key to me

"What is it with you and stabbing people? What is it with you and NOT stabbing people!!"
-I hate it when pieces of media deviate from what they are and try to become something more. Usually it just gets stupid.

Not a ZP qoute, but from his "Let's drown out...." series, whenever they came across something playing "The Path" that seemed either incomprehensible or a metaphor for something far more disturbing, Yathzee would just respond "It's ART!".

Which is now my standard go to every time I run across a piece of art(often modern art) that I have no idea what it's supposed to be or how to describe it.

As I've been visiting Art Museums in the Netherlands over the past few days, I've been using it a lot lately.

"A good story is like a good shit: The best part is when it ends." I tend to like fiction that has a set stopping point much more than ones that don't or others that drag things out before finally calling quits.
Oh, and cliff hangers grind me gears, I say! They're like these huge, unrelenting things in your bowels.... that only turn out to be gas after ya spent a good few minutes of forcing it out. And it smells really bad, too.
Agreed, "A good story is like a good shit: The best part is when it ends."

For me it's the main reason I don't get MMO's as a whole. Yeah it's sad to see a good story coming to an end but it's ok, you can always re-read or play it. :D

That and "Never play a multiplayer game where you can't slap the other person across the face when they do something stupid." I think that one is from his review of Modern Warfare 2.
