I don't see why the women isn't suing the company that was harvesting the information to begin wtih. To me, they are the real culprits. As previously mentioned, many application fell victim to this information leak. The only reason why Zynga is being sued is because of the current reputation surrounding it, and it is the biggest social game developer, which to many people means a bigger payout. Greed is the only reason I see for this lawsuit. Besides, I think it to be a Facebook problem more than a developer problem.

im dead serious, if i knew where Zynga and the guys behind World of Lordcraft and Evony were based at, i´d become a suicide bomber.

Zynga has hidden loads of malware in their games, spams you every living moment your on Facebook, and apparently fucks with peoples personal information. they need to be destroyed.

Just one question, where is the hidden malware? There is no malware in Zynga games, there is in Evony and in World of Lordcraft. Perhaps you can quote an article about malware in Zynga games? As for spam, well, it's your friends that post those things on their wall. That and every Facebook game developer does it, it's part of the social game model. Your friends post it for their friends that play it to benefit them, if you don't want to see it, block the feed. It just takes two clicks.

As for the information being messed with, in this instance, it was a Facebook weakness that was exploited, and it wasn't just Zynga players whose data was mined. It was a great deal many application developers that fell prey to this.
