Until I save enough money for a nice souped up rig, it'll be PS4 games I've had on the back burner in forever (not that many, to be fair), and Total War: Rome - Remastered.

Then it'll be Total War: Warhammer III for the foreseeable future. -_- Haven't the faintest what I want to play as far as action adventures/RPG's go, though.

Nier Replicant(just came out). RE8 next week. Also really want to play Eitr and Eldest Souls when they release. SMT3 remaster looking good as well but probably won't get that while I'm still chipping away at DQ11 S, Yakuza 7 and P5 Strikers. I don't expect my most anticipated games(elden ring, ff16) to release this year. Nier is currently taking priority though. That story just grabs me like few other games do. It went from fetch quests to make you familiar with the world to text adventure to shmup to Resident Evil style game all before it's first dramatic moment(which was also something else entirely). Really cool to see the connections with Automata(or the other way around I suppose though I never played Nier originally).

Thinking on it a bit more, my plans are mostly just "find more coop games to play with the wifey"
Make sure to play Streets of Rage 4 together, if you have not already. Get two more people, if you wish, to do 4 player madness.

We might try fighter games. Honestly they're not really either of our preferred genres. We've been fiddling about with Magika 2, and that's some hilarious "coop" in that game. But she's really enjoying Haven, and is actively coming up to me when I get home from work like "so we gonna play the game?" *twinkly anime expression*

I'm thinking of picking up It Takes 2 next, given it's specifically designed for coop, and seems to have a very story driven theme to it.

Also there are some interesting investigation games coming this year for the switch (the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles and Famicom Detective Club)

If you decide you don't want to finish Metal Gear, you honestly won't miss anything. It's short but it feels rather tedious. Metal Gear 2, OTOH, definitely finish that.
