Deathloop is just another game that I feel has been coming out for forever. The Black Widow of video games, if you will. Honorable mentions include Halo Infinite and all the new DC video games.
I really like the art style and I really like the IDEA of what the game is supposed to be. But I'm very very skeptical that it will actually play out to be any good.
Same thoughts really. Probably will make for some very fun videos made by the people who have perfected every single mechanic in the Dishonored games. But all the freedom you're given sure sounds like it will come at the cost of the story.
Oh, and good luck to the shmucks who live in countries with bad internet and low playercounts.
I really wish they would stop trying to make hero arena shooters. They never work out well and Overwatch is becoming just the rare exception. Ugh.

That's up to Atlus tho, and they're kind of weird about porting, often hinting at what might get a port, but rarely actually doing it, and when they do it's often a port you didn't expect eg. Persona 4 Golden.
Remember when everyone was copying Call of Duty or Halo and Gears?
Or when everyone was trying to make the next Grand Theft Auto?
Or all the bad fighting game clones and every Mario knockoff that came out in sight in those times?
This is nothing new. It will pass; just don't play it.
The next best thing will come along, and it'll start all over again.

Why yes, I do remember when Pandemic made Mercenaries, the greatest game of all time.
A Metroidvania brawler (I know Dust exists) and a Battle Royale Brawler. Consider me impressed.
Deathloop feels like a weird version of Dishonored.
Seems like it shares the similiar first person gameplay with blink abilities and items, but it just feels trying too hard to be hip and relevant.
