As for tattoos and their value in the long run, it depends on the reason you get one and what you choose. I've three so far myself, but nothing picked off of a wall at a parlor. I designed them all myself, and none have potentially transitory significance, i.e.: no significant other's names, not team logos (though I've twice tried to talk myself into a San Francisco 49ers' tat... I still might...)
I was talking more about how depending on your skin, when you hit 60 or 70, your tattoos might be unrecognizable. But I also realize that for some, tattoos mean quite a lot. Just something I've accepted that I'll never understand and is not my thing.

I know it's a common/funny idea that old, saggy skin deforms tattoos beyond recognition, but it's not true, not to any appreciable extent at least. Mostly they fade, and finer details are lost over time.

Been noticing that the food YouTubers I follow don't get nearly as much views as they used to. Interesting. I wonder if people are getting tired of cooking, or possibly since things are loosening up out there people are eating out again.

Ya know... As much as women want respect and empathy in their real life romances, they really get hot and heavy over abusive relationships in their romance stories and porn.
It doesn't even have to be actual relationships sometimes. I have no idea why they go absolutely wild over the most unlikeable, asshole, even irredeemable characters ever. I have to rack my brain to think of a female villain that I'd even consider boning, meanwhile ladies have crushes on handsome cannibals and mass murderers. Not that dudes don't thirst over questionable characters, but it really does seem way more prevalent in women.

I think it's because women will like that kind of thing in their porn and romance but with men it seems isolated only to their porn.

Nothing seems to irritate me more when I'm at work than when putting in the same variable for the machines I run ends up leading to different results. I'm usually pretty quiet at work but whenever this happens I actually start talking to myself and swearing, "Why? BUT WHY?! Why does it do that?! WHY?! Tell me f%^&ing WHY!" was one such phrase I said today.

I feel like this exact scenario has happened to everyone with a mom and dad.

Mom: Son, go help your dad with -insert task-

You: If he wanted my help then he'd ask me.

Mom: Go ask him anyway!

You: Hey dad, do you need any help?

Dad: Nope.

You: He said he doesn't need help.

Mom: *exasperated sigh*

I wonder how far off we are from smart TVs that use recognition software to gauge when our eyes are attentive to the screen versus times we look away. I feel that would be great for ad companies to understand what engages viewers and what falls flat or is dismissed by the audience. It's also terrifying, but a great opportunity for more "new homeowners becoming their parents" commercials from Progressive Insurance.

What is it that makes something masculine or feminine? I recently learned that a video game maker I enjoy the games of, DeepSeaPrisoner, is a woman and upon learning of this I thought, "Hhm, yeah that makes sense." The thing is, I can't really point to an obvious aspect of their work that makes me think that. Sometimes masculinity and femininity have obvious tells when they are extreme but even in light touches you can still see it even if it can't be adequately described.

Hearing tornado sirens go off in your neighborhood during a thunderstorm just before you were about to go to sleep and then being unable to sleep from fear while you have another day of overtime at work tomorrow sucks.

Wolverine's claws are pretty much impossible to work as they are advertised in the comics/movies.

Firstly, they can only be as long as his forearms, and they are often portrayed as at least such. Any longer, and they'd impede the use of his elbows when retracted. Assuming that, when they are protruding, it's safe to say the backs of them have moved to his wrists or, worst case, the backs of his hands.

Secondly, given the claws' retractable nature, they need to be attached to muscle and independent of Wolverine's skeletal frame despite themselves being bone.

Thirdly and most importantly, regardless of how sharp they are or how strong adamantium is supposed to be, cleaving with them into any substance with significant resistance like metal or wood would tear the flesh of his forearms and hands most likely declawing him entirely in gruesome fashion. Of course he'd heal, maybe even grow new claws (sans adamantium, of course,) but that's a lot of pain to go through every time the day needs saving and it wouldn't work anyway...
