How would you feel if Nintendo stopped making consoles and put their games on other platforms?

I don't know if I could get used to Nintendo games being on PS5 or Series X.

Never happening. Got money to last them over 80 years.
Back in the Wii U days, it was said that Nintendo could lost money for 50 consecutive years and still not go under. Nintendo must have enough money to operate at a loss for 200 years after the Switch.

Do yourself a favour, kiddo, decouple your feelings from Nintendo and don't go around asking; "I like Nintendo, do you guys also like Nintendo?" at every turn, it leads to dark places.
I still remember the last time we had someone like that on the old forum... That was certainly rather special.
You don't think they're both...? Naaahhhhh, couldn't be

I’d be disappointed personally but if that is where the tides eventually draw the company then I hope I’m wise enough to simply accept it. After my fifth run and coke.

All these Nintendo threads popping up. I smell a Yoshi, does anyone else smell a Yoshi?
Seems similar, but I'd like to think that they've ( Yoshi ) matured past the point of going back to a forum after having been banned for over a year just to gush over Nintendo.

CastletonSnob is not Yoshi. He used to go by VG_Addict, but changed his username in the migration to v2 iirc.

Also, Yoshi would've long lost his temper. Nothing against the guy, but y'all know it's true.

Was just going to post this. CastletonSnob is clearly not Yoshi or any of the other notorious Nintendo die hard fans we've had previously. He does have a bit of an obsession about repeating threads of certain topics, but definitely doesn't get personally involved enough in the discussion to really come across as a fanatic or get himself mod wrath.

At this point, I couldn't care less. The videogame industry has gone so far corporate, Nintendo selling out would be little more than the natural evolution of a money-hungry beast. That said, I think Nintendo has enough unique identity that they treasure that it'll never happen. Is seppuku still a thing in Japan? Because they'd probably go that route before "dishonoring" themselves. Sell off Mario and Link? That check would have to have a metric fuck-ton of zeroes BEFORE the decimal point AND come with a short blade for the requisite seppuku.
