Anyone remembers MDK 2?

I thought about MDK 2 today for some reason and how wacky and fun it was.
Anyone remembers this gem or has the series completely faded into obscurity nowadays?

I do, but I prefer the first MDK. It has that weird charm that all Shiny games from the 90s have. Tho I'll admit MDK2 probably holds up better in the gameplay department.

Weirdly, made by bioware. I guess back then it was easier to just make a game outside your wheelhouse.

I mostly remember getting a demo of it on one of those demo disc for the PC. Dying a bunch of time and being really confused.

Mostly I remember the outcry surrounding the name, which either stood for Murder, Death, Kill or for the characters (Max, Doc, Kurt?), or both. I remember reading about the controversy in a gaming magazine.

I remember the first one, the very loud footsteps of the protagonist, and the garbled enemy noises.

I remember it and yet never played it.

Yeah, heyy, I remember the demo of the first game on the playstation that I got to play round a 'friend-of-family's house once or twice, that it was difficult for my fimble uneducated thumbs and couldn't remember what it was even called for years after. Have always been curious if it was ever any good tho. Might be worth a throw on the remake train if so.

Haha yeah, that raised some eyebrows lol
I've always thought of it as "Max, Doc, Kurt" but never really known which nomenclature is the canonical one (and won't dig deeper on the subject )
