What's the hardest kids' game show bonus round?

For me, it's the Temple Run in Legends of the Hidden Temple. There's a reason only 32 episodes out of 120 total had the team successfully getting the artifact out of the Temple. The ONLY bonus round that even comes close is the Map Round in Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, at least if it was the Africa map.

I haven't seen too many kids game shows. In fact, the only one I remember watching was Uh Oh! where the kids get covered in slime if they get the answers wrong.

I hate to be "that guy" but a friend of mine actually competed in Legends of the Hidden Temple. It was all rigged. They were told ahead of filming when and where each contestant would be knocked out, and which team was gonna win that week.

Yep. All true. I found out when I was about 19 or so. After finding that out, you couldn't get me to touch the reruns ever again. As far as hard kids game shows: Nickelodeon Guts and Wild n Crazy Kids. The second show wasn't that hard, but it did have a few challenging moments.

I'm willing to believe everything on TV is rigged but isn't manufacturing a 25% victory rate a little low for a children's game show?

It made kids, like my pal Eric, want to compete on the show. "I can do it! I know all the questions" and then they show up and are just told who wins, if anyone does.

The rather excellent medieval fantasy themed CBBC gameshow Raven was based on series long competitions that saw one kid warrior knocked out each episode. Over an episode, they'd compete in several tests of strength, dexterity, and intelligence, winning gold rings if they won a challenge and losing a life if they lost. Whichever competitor had the fewest lives remaining at the end of each episode had a chance to progress to the next week if they could beat one rather tricky obstacle course called The Way of the Warrior. Being knocked off the path or touching some of the later obstacles resulted in an instant loss. If they succeeded, then the warrior with the second fewest lives had to take on the challenge, and would be knocked out if they lost. The original version of the show ran for ten series, and featured eighteen contestants each series. Of those one would win, and two would be runners up. In series 2 onwards, three from each series would also be eliminated by coming last in the head to head obstacle challenge The Last Stand. That meant the other twelve were eliminated by The Way of the Warrior. That means, by my calculations, 123 children were eliminated from Raven by The Way of the Warrior. 4 ever successfully cleared it. That's about a 3% win rate.

The only one of these I remember much was called A*mazing and its final round was just a match of Mario Kart on the SNES. So if the picked the rainbow road equivalent; it was probably hard.

What?! That's so lame! I've never even heard of the show and I'm disillusioned!
