It's pretty obvious they're hoping to distract enough of the casual audience for them to ignore it, and not think of it to be not an issue nor a big deal. That doesn't work anymore. Even for casual consumers, they're either so desensitized or don't see them as a big deal as much anymore, that they will look at things that are wrong and notice them.
Not sure I follow. The casuals neither care or are aware of the issue, and NR should know better than to try and distract the core base which is most vocal. With less than three months to go, they still have time to address it, but I won’t be surprised if it takes even til after launch for them to do anything, if ever.

* I'm glad Li Mei is back but am a bit disappointed because I liked her civilian backstory from Deadly Alliance. And the more I think about it, her new bactstory might have made more sense for Jade.

* I like Tanya's new moves since these games already have a lot of pyrokinetics.

I like the fact that Geras is now a good guy, given free will by Liu Kang. Honestly, I always felt bad for him in MK 11.

Remember when Liu Kang was the only character with a non-lethal finisher?
The only time it became a lethal finisher is in the Pit Stage of MK 1992. His fatality ends as an uppercut, so it counts as an actual fatality when on that stage. Glad that aspect of Liu Kang was dropped immediately in MK II.

So happy to see Havik and Ashrah back. Especially the latter, as I thought she'd be condemned to the pits of the Netherrealm like most of the new guys in Deception.
