The Folding Ideas video is actually insane. His big NFT video kinda made everyone look like idiots falling for a grift. This one is more "these are mentally unstable people who have joined a cult". They genuinely believe, in essence, that their Gamestop stock can become infinite money glitches and that they can use it to break the US, if not global, economy. It's like fight club but with less people who look like Brad Pitt.
And then once the global economy is broken (because the world's governments will of course give them whatever they want, rather than just passing some laws forcing everything back to normal or sending some Black Ops units to "pacify" holdouts), they'll be rolling in Lamborghinis because... "Lambos are tendies and I'm going to Wendy's". How anyone's going to be selling cars or gasoline or anything else with a broken world economy just apparently isn't an issue.

Finally getting around to it. Turns out the whole thing is way more evil than I had thought. I knew crypto was stupid and basically begging for fraud. Didn't realise how much that was a feature and not a bug.
