This idea is based on the fact that Israel won't attack, and I don't know if they would or wouldn't attack, if they attack this bluff is done for, and either Israel will sink a few destroyers, and down a few dozen task force aircraft which helps China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea. Again while this happens it's not inconceivable that China will attack Taiwan possibly with Russian navy assets in the Far East near Alaska. It's also not impossible for other countries to take advantage of this to go to war as well. Again I don't know how to get Israel to back down without damaging US interests, even if this is somewhat contrary to US interests. Even if the US sanctions Israel to hell, I don't think they care. That just means the war goes on, and Netanyahu stays in power longer. It's the same thing the US did in Suez in 1956.
