I haven't gotten far enough in, I just started so I'm in story-start and tutorial mode. But I did play the demo and the combat was the best part. The fun combat and mediocre looking world and premise made me decide the game was something to play at some point when I was in the mood, had nothing else, and the price dropped, all of which happened this week. Good looking combat videos don't always translate into good feeling and fun combat gameplay (long animations, particle and light effects, players that post vids being more skilled and dedicated than I'll ever be) but the demo was good enough for me. At the start I have an ability to freeze, shield, and shoot, which is already enough to get going pretty good, and I know there's a lot more coming like that sword thingy.
