I suppose his handlers convinced him to, because they know he'll just launch into more angry racist rambling.Trump cancelled the interview.

Well, no, its not that he "criticised the federal response to hurricanes", it's that he lied about the federal response to hurricanes in order to smear migrants and political opponents. Lying & smearing =/ legitimate criticism. So if you vote for someone that criticizes federal response to hurricanes, that makes you rotten beyond redemption?
Can't have a prison system if you can't compel convicts to do things against their will. Otherwise it's less imprisonment and more asking nicely. It is pretty galling that the US had a civil war over slavery and the Amendment has enough weasel words to make sure slavery was legal still
You can absolutely have a prison system without forced labour. Hundreds of countries manage it. Confinement isn't labour. Can't have a prison system if you can't compel convicts to do things against their will. Otherwise it's less imprisonment and more asking nicely.
In the strictest sense, you cannot have a prison system without being able to compel prisoners to do things. The line for involuntary servitude isn't the mark at which you are extracting economic value. You can absolutely have a prison system without forced labour.
Of course the bitches go to any lengths to overthrow democracy and protect their wannabe God-biatch king.Unrelated, my fucking state: https://wchstv.com/news/local/house...cognize-an-illegitimate-presidential-election
This is a bit facile, to be perfectly honest; like arguing that school is comparable to slavery because we compel kids to attend. A rational sense of perspective should be enough to know the difference. In the strictest sense, you cannot have a prison system without being able to compel prisoners to do things. This isn't disinterest, it's politics. What's the rush for more hurricane relief? It's not like there's 2 massive hurricanes hitting within a week of each other.
This is why no one has any respect for congress. How do you respect people who are happy to go on vacation while their constituents are suffering and dying?
It's generous of you to ascribe even a minimally complex level of nuance to political machinations when we've arrived, as a country, to a point where you can casually plant a seed of the weed of ignorance only to watch it flourish into a mighty tree of stupidity with little-to-no effort. Just saying, "doing nothing" is pretty much all the "Right" has to do, because there are so many inbred pawns willing to pick up the ball and run with it (in the wrong direction, mind you) with little to no goading necessary from their leaders. This isn't disinterest, it's politics.
People will look upon devastated towns and unhappy citizens and it adds to a perception of the country to wrack and ruin. If people perceive things aren't going well, it's usually the guy at the top that gets the blame. So the longer it takes aid to arrive, and the more the cameras are focusing on unhappy people, the better it is for the Republicans. Even if they're the ones refusing to open the purse strings.
maybe Schadrach is on to something. When a police officer compels someone to do something, that constitutes involuntary servitude. And since these compulsions tend to come prior to any hearing by a court, they are presumably not punishments for a crime of which someone has been duly convicted. So the police, by the 13th amendment as written, are disallowed from compelling any action by any person unless and until that particular compulsion has been directed by a court as the result of a criminal trial of the one being compelled. This is a bit facile, to be perfectly honest; like arguing that school is comparable to slavery because we compel kids to attend. A rational sense of perspective should be enough to know the difference.
Guess what I have to say to that?Lying & smearing =/ legitimate criticism.
I'm upset that Trump is doing the blaming when every democrat and republican official in the affected states have confirmed that they are getting all of the necessary aid that they have requested. So if you vote for someone that criticizes federal response to hurricanes, that makes you rotten beyond redemption?
I've got some bad news about which party that take favors...
To be clear, stop blaming natural disasters on presidents and/or whining about the monumental efforts done across the board to help people through them, but if you're only upset when Trump is doing the blaming and you're doing the blaming when Trump is in charge, you're kind of a ridiculous hypocrite.
Those are the things that make Trump rotten beyond redemption. As California battled the deadliest wildfire in its history in 2018, Donald J. Trump, then the president, initially opposed unlocking federal funding for the state, according to two former Trump administration officials.
But Mr. Trump shifted his position after his advisers found data showing that large numbers of his supporters were being affected by the infernos, said the officials, who have both endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris in this year’s presidential election.
Please please please please please please please let this be a moment of revelation for you. Everything you posted is just the same things twice.I'm upset that Trump is doing the blaming when every democrat and republican official in the affected states have confirmed that they are getting all of the necessary aid that they have requested.

More lying and/or smearing, presumably.Guess what I have to say to that?
Probably either some whataboutism, or an unconvincing argument for why the lies are OK.Guess what I have to say to that?
Jesus christ you're sick beyond redemption. Please please please please please please please let this be a moment of revelation for you. Everything you posted is just the same things twice.
You despise Trump (in this moment) for spreading the idea that the Biden Administration is fumbling the hurricane response, suggesting they're unhelpful or even corruptly redirecting funds away from the efforts. And then you post claims about the Trump Administration being unhelpful or even corruptly redirecting funds away from disaster relief efforts, published by Democratic Party aligned organizations citing anonymous sources.
Donald Trump is a mirror held up to the Democratic Party. You despise him because he does the same things they do, but with an (R) next to his name. Trump says the Biden Administration is refusing to help Republican areas. Harris says Ron DeSantis refused her calls, because he's "selfish" and prioritizing "political gamesmanship" over helping people. Ron DeSantis says he talked to Biden, and is grateful that everything needed is being approved, and he will not hesitate to reach out should more be needed. Can you not see that Harris is doing exactly the same things that Trump is? Can you not see that posting rumors about Trump you saw on the internet is the same personal behavior as Trump spreading claims he heard on tv?
(Most of what you think is true about America is lies and slander)Probably either some whataboutism, or an unconvincing argument for why the lies are OK.
I see you've picked the "if I yell louder, I can't hear it" option.Jesus christ you're sick beyond redemption.
You're really going to "bOtH sIdES!" these fucking evil lies as if they're equivalent things? FUCK YOU!
If they're lies he likes, sure! Remember, you're talking to the guy who said "proof is an unreasonable demand".You're really going to "bOtH sIdES!" these fucking evil lies as if they're equivalent things? FUCK YOU!
