Waittttt what the fuck? Why are they giving some middling PS3 game on steam fro free?

I remember getting sucked in because it looked like you'd be playing some heavily mutated guy, but in reality its just a suit that you get in the last hour of the game. Otherwise he's just a dude.

Not the worse, but at least it's free. Dark Sector I couldn't play, because by the time it came out, and I was already done with cover shooters, aside from Vanquish.

Playstation 5 Digital Slim impressions

Odd, I did a search for a thread on this and couldn't find one. Well, it is now 4 years since launch. Not a new gen anymore. PS6 I'd think has to be launching in 3 years or so and I have to think, it will be a hybrid like the Switch.

I have a PS4 Pro and the biggest change I see is that storage is more expensive and the controller is new.

Load times do seem faster. There is a premium sort of feel to it. Controller is nice. Better than my favorite, the Xbox controllers? Can't say yet, but already like it better than the 3 and 4. Also need to see how long it holds a charge. Rechargeables for the Xbox last forever. The PS? I feel like they need a recharge every time I game.

So far, the graphics are the biggest disappointment. They're, of course, not bad. I just think I wouldn't be able to tell if I didn't have the same game setup side by side to make a comparison. And this on a 75" 4K I sit close to and even these old eyes would pick up a big difference. If graphics alone were the reason to upgrade, I wouldn't have done it.

But time goes on. My Pro is 7 years old. Sony is starting to give out PS+ games for the PS5 only so, if I want to pick them up, need the PS5.

And surprisingly, I've fit about 5 games on there so far and still have 650 Gig to spare. Storage is not quite the horror show I thought it might be. Even so, 4 TB upgrade on its way.

I thought the disc player add on is $50? At least on sale? Right now, pretty unavailable as I think people are buying the Pro, which also needs the same device. This too shall pass and I'll grab one.

Right now, I've got it horizontal on these tiny plastic feet. Cheap and flimsy but seems to get the job done.

As another poster put it, price was low so, "fu@k it". I'll likely continue to put the wear and tear on the PS4 for cross gen games. They still look fine. But the visuals seem so close in quality, to distinguish the PS6 as a piece of hardware you must have in the near future, I think it will have to do something very different (ie hybrid or come with AR glasses or something).
