I think what's going to blow minds is how young some of the professors are, aside from like Dumbledore and McGonagall. Like I don't think Snape is even 40 by the end of the books. Same with Lupin and Sirius. And there's also just, the unmitigated misery of trying to make Harry Potter in modern Britain. London alone has more CCTV cameras than some countries and so many, many other things. That statute of secrecy is not long for the century in my opinion.

And in other news, casting of Obliviate has increased 200 percent.

I mean, if they choose to go full-book Psycho it might be worth a gander. I never read the book, but I heard some of the stuff that goes down and it makes the movie look like a Nickelodeon show by comparison.

Yeah it’s the same with A Clockwork Orange. The movie is pretty heinous, but the book is just way worse.

That’s the problem with film adaptions of explicit source material needing to avoid an NC17 rating to have a decent chance of recouping their budgets.

I honestly love how Morbius, Madame Web, and Kraven are now ruined in movies for decades. Sure, we might get 'm in comics or videogames, but as for movies they're utterly done. Sony just set them on fire and pissed on the ashes - it's hilarious!
