What’s Your Favorite Anime Character and Why?

Hey everyone! I’m new here and wanted to ask: Who’s your all-time favorite anime character, and what makes them stand out to you? It could be anyone—main characters, side characters, or even villains! I’d love to hear your reasons, whether it's their personality, development, or something entirely else.

For me, it's Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender. I just love her waterbending powers—being able to control water and heal with it is pretty amazing!

1. L from Death Note. I admire and love fictional geniuses. I like his competitive nature and design. His quirks make him cute and unique, too. His deductions seem well thought-out and something that real humans can learn from.

2. Due to not being Japanese, Avatar: The Last Airbender is not an anime.

On an unrelated note, if you like Avatar the Last Airbender, try Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit. As a fan of both shows, I think they're quite similar.
