Supreme Court is set to issue rulings on birthright citizenship and five other cases on term's final day
The court has six cases left to decide as it concludes its nine-month term ahead of a summer break.
Makes me feel ancient, since when I hear "older manosphere influencer" my mind jumps to someone like Karen Straughn/Alison Tieman (who both posted their first YouTube videos in response to people accusing them of being men pretending to be women) or someone like Paul Elam. All of them have been at it forever compared to Liver King, and are much more on that topic. Isn't Liver King primarily a paleo diet and workout influencer anyways? Kind of like how Tate is a walking worst of Red Pill / PUA compilation tape?older manosphere influencer who used to spend more on steroids every month than I do to live each year, 'Liver King'
I was a teenager when Clinton was in office. I've been persistently made to feelNow I feel old, I was a kid during the previous Iraq War. I also had lego.
Depending on how they're connected to the state department of ed you might be able to argue them being government, however peripherally. You don't know what you're talking about. The Iowa High School Music Association is the peak of scientific rigor.
Maybe it's dementia, maybe it's dismissal, maybe it's derision. With Trump it's hard to tell from sentence to sentence.Maybe it was the dementia.
So we can expect a 6/3 split deciding that being born in the US is not sufficient to be a US citizen, with no opinion written on how they defend that decision and the other three writing a single page dissent that just quotes the 14th Amendment, section 1 verbatim and points out that the opinion of the court is obviously wrong to the casual observer with even the slightest bit of English literacy?Oh, oh, oh. Exciting![]()

OK, so about a dozen cases in a sample size of millions. Here's an article with a pretty good timetable. She says there is no signal yet also says it's happening...

CDC Says It Has Seen No 'Signals' Linking COVID Vaccines and Myocarditis
CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said the agency is looking at 14 reported DoD cases.www.military.com
? What? Excess events of Cardiac arrhythmia, just like myocarditis and pericarditis, would be reported from those who sought care, or from follow-ups. Exactly the same structures apply. What group of people do you think is overwhelmingly having their heart rhythm monitored that had covid?
OK, so if government/ scientific organisations instructed people to wear masks with holes in them, then show me that guidance. If it was official guidance you should be able to find it.You think the these organizations just make up their own rules and don't ask / look at the recommendations of the CDC or whoever?
They'd be wise to, if they want to keep their heads once the new Republican dictatorship entrenches itself. So we can expect a 6/3 split deciding that being born in the US is not sufficient to be a US citizen, with no opinion written on how they defend that decision and the other three writing a single page dissent that just quotes the 14th Amendment, section 1 verbatim and points out that the opinion of the court is obviously wrong to the casual observer with even the slightest bit of English literacy?
The Supreme Court isn't going to reverse birthright citizenship...So we can expect a 6/3 split deciding that being born in the US is not sufficient to be a US citizen, with no opinion written on how they defend that decision and the other three writing a single page dissent that just quotes the 14th Amendment, section 1 verbatim and points out that the opinion of the court is obviously wrong to the casual observer with even the slightest bit of English literacy?
If it didn't seem out of the ordinary, it wouldn't have been looked into, which it obviously was, and then it turned out to be true.OK, so about a dozen cases in a sample size of millions.
Do you know how many people got splinters and stubbed toes after receiving the vaccine? Loads! Scientific institutions should definitely consider that a "signal" and pump public money into researching the possible connection between them, right?
? What? Excess events of Cardiac arrhythmia, just like myocarditis and pericarditis, would be reported from those who sought care, or from follow-ups. Exactly the same structures apply.
Thousands of excess events for cardiac arrhythmia per million. About 5 for myocarditis. You want to disregard the former and solely focuse on the latter.
OK, so if government/ scientific organisations instructed people to wear masks with holes in them, then show me that guidance. If it was official guidance you should be able to find it.
The rest of your post is waffle.

Mitch McConnell says people worried about Medicaid cuts will "get over it"

Can this asshat just start falling down stairs and never stop?
I'm not sure annoyed is the exact word. More like apathetic. Its still funny that for all Wilders fawning over Trump he only got the most non statement from Trump in return. So during the NATO top in The Netherlands someone within Geert Wilders' little club of sycophants got him a 10-minute meeting with Trump (who Wilders fucking loves), but Trump was apparently annoyed by this and didn't even know who Wilders was. Maybe it was the dementia. Either way, good stuff.
I suppose that's all indeed a risk. Still I have faith Rutte has the charm to make the asskissing look sincere. Forging personal relations has always been one of his big assets.Yeah, I'm not so sure about that. I think Trump loves obsequience and flattery, but he's canny enough that he doesn't necessarily fall for it, either.
In one part, Trump keeps his eye squarely on the prize (i.e. his self-interest), and all that buttering-up isn't necessarily worth a damn when he thinks he's not getting a benefit. Secondly, whilst he'll take the flattery when it's offered, he may also suspect that it's insincere, or cheap if from someone he suspects its not been earnt.
If Rutte really sent those, it's potentially embarrassing for Rutte - and I wouldn't it put it past Trump realising that and publishing them to belittle him. Or consider that if taken seriously, Rutte's opinion could make Trump feel more contemptuous, intransigent and dismissive towards European countries, which may undermine Europe's ability to get its agenda across.
You can't say *what* the signal was or *why* it merited research, even now. Yet you're simultaneously certain that American scientists must have been lying if they didn't see it and follow it up, a couple of weeks after it was first reported in a foreign country. If it didn't seem out of the ordinary, it wouldn't have been looked into, which it obviously was, and then it turned out to be true.
And its already pointed out that the discrepancy is so enormous, subgrouping cannot reasonably reverse it. Thousands of excess events for covid. Negligible numbers for the vaccine. You want us to ignore that risk, in order to avoid a (literally) 0.005% increased risk of myocarditis. And cardiac arrhythmia wasn't separated into the subgroups.
OK, so you can't point to any government or scientific institutional guidance to wear those masks with holes in. You're just moaning that a couple of school clubs did something silly and blaming "the science" for it.Without government saying to wear masks inside, no one would have worn masks to begin with. To comply with mask policies and play instruments at the same time, you have to do such idiot things.
Well, they're talking about using a real law still on the books from the Eisenhower administration in the way that you guys would talk about having a Republican Luigi'd, so I'm not terribly upset about it.Hey, @Phoenixmgs, @tstorm823, c'mon over here and tell us how it's okay for call for a President to strip citizenship from and deport someone because of disliked politics.

LASD shot LAPD with rubber bullets and tear gas during No Kings protest
Radio transmissions reveal officers frantically shouting “hold your goddamn crossfire” as the joint operation broke down at Saturday’s downtown rally.
Officers with LAPD found themselves caught in the crossfire of tear gas and other less lethal munitions between themselves and deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department during the violent dispersal of fleeing demonstrators.
Los Angeles Alerts, an X account that shares highlights of notable police radio traffic events in the city, first shared the incident online in a social media post that quickly went viral.
The audio was verified using the post’s time and an archived YouTube livestream of the police communications during the protests. Other instances of friendly fire were uncovered on the livestream before and after these events.
The first report of friendly fire came in at 4:55 p.m.
LAPD officers were coordinating with LASD to corral demonstrators at the corners of Temple and Main over the radios, trying to separate and push them away from City Hall.
An officer shouts over the radio to LASD deputies at Main and Temple to “hold your goddamn crossfire here,” ending the radio call by saying “blue blue,” likely a reference to blue-on-blue friendly fire.
The call either wasn’t heard or shared with LASD deputies because nearly 20 minutes later, another LAPD officer radioed to dispatch about an unruly crowd between Temple and First streets, they needed help clearing. He also reported another problem.
“We’re still taking gas and less-lethal munitions from the Sheriffs over on Temple and Main.”
An officer, unclear which department he represented, responded and relayed that he couldn’t do much to help: “Roger, we can only work on one problem here.”
Three minutes later, another officer frantically radios from the same location, saying they were not only taking rocks and bottles, but were again being shot by LASD.
The moment was also caught on video, showing deputies clearly unaware of who was on the other side of their weapons, firing pepper balls and other less-lethal rounds at and around a group of people in the middle of the street, including members of the press.
LAPD officers positioned directly on the other side of the street took cover behind concrete pillars on the steps of LA City Hall when a tear gas canister hit one of them. In the video, an officer kicks it into the street while gas from other canisters obscures the officers in smoke.
In a statement, LASD said they were unaware of any “friendly fire” incidents with the LAPD while assisting them in dispersing the crowds.
“All law enforcement agencies were in close proximity to each other, including LAPD, and we were in close communication as we strategically deployed less-lethal ammunition.”
It’s unclear how much of the miscommunication led to unnecessary injuries, including at least one demonstrator who sustained a head injury from a rubber bullet.
LAPD has not confirmed if their officers sustained any injuries or if they were negatively impacted by tear gas.
LASD, in its statement, said it does not use less-lethal weapons indiscriminately. Deputies continually shooting at other officers unintentionally, despite LAPD’s efforts over their radios to make them stop, doesn’t demonstrate strategic use of force or close communication between the two departments.
LA Public Press reached out to the LAPD, asking what caused the friendly fire incidents and whether there were any injuries, but the department did not respond before publication.
It's not gonna happen... The things you guys actually worry about are insane. Also, why would they revoke Mamdani's citizenship when him winning the democratic ticket makes it easiest for a republican to win? Mambani is a joke, his policies are horrible, for the sake of NYC's residents I hope he loses. Though if he wins, they will be getting what they deserve; "You've made your bed, now lie in it."In response to Zohan Mamdani winning the Democratic primary for mayor of New York City, the New York Young Republican Club called for Trump to strip him of his citizenship and deport him.

Mind you, it's not because of some alleged criminal history. It's because he's "a communist".

What the hell are you talking about? The signal is people getting a very rare condition right after getting vaccinated. If there was no signal, how do you think this was even looked at and studied to begin with? You think someone just drew myocarditis from a hat and decided to study it?You can't say *what* the signal was or *why* it merited research, even now. Yet you're simultaneously certain that American scientists must have been lying if they didn't see it and follow it up, a couple of weeks after it was first reported in a foreign country.

OK, so you can't point to any government or scientific institutional guidance to wear those masks with holes in. You're just moaning that a couple of school clubs did something silly and blaming "the science" for it.
The rate of myocarditis in the general population, unrelated to covid or vaccines, ranges between 100 and 1050 per million. That means that even unrelated to covid, the rate can vary by as much as 90% (!) depending on the population, and can be as high as >1000.What the hell are you talking about? The signal is people getting a very rare condition right after getting vaccinated.
"Inverted"?You do realize the people getting heart issues from covid and the vaccine are basically completely inverted, right?
No, because we're not talking about that. We're talking about kids wearing masks with holes in them to play instruments. You said that was done due to gov/scientific guidance, but couldn't find any such guidance to say that. Are you saying that schools/grocery stores/whatnot having a mask mandate was done completely independent of government/scientific guidance?
I too, wish that Trump would stop trying to make me have sex with AmericaTrump just gave a speech at the NATO top in which he said America is the hottest country right now. He actually mentioned it being hot like 4 times.
That's how fucked America as a country is.
I mean, this line of thinking is wrong mainly because the original anti-trans in the army movement is wrong. You just responding to someone elseSomeone somewhere is going to start regretting purging trans troops when they start needing live bodies at the front lines.
