I bought the OnePlus Nord N30 a couple weeks back for $240 from Best Buy. My old phone was a Moto G52 (I think) that sucked at being a phone; most of them time I had to restart my phone to actually make/take a call because the audio just didn't work (either I couldn't hear them, they couldn't hear me or nobody could hear anyone). So far it's a really good phone and a ton of little things that didn't work properly on the Moto work just fine on this phone. For example, I have automated Tasker events that just sometimes would work and sometimes wouldn't; I have a task that runs so my notifications/ringtone is lowered when I'm at work and when I get off work, the volume goes back up, and that didn't work to well on the Moto (it would be a Saturday and my text message notification would be low in volume).

I got one of those a week ago, it is kinda crap, how is yours?
Well, it's a bit cumbersome but I've found it works best if you're already clutching the thing when you're scooping and release it when serving, rather than scooping and then clutching to serve. Not the worst $3 I've parted with.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
I found out that both 'Infinity Train' and 'Summer Camp Island' have full dvd sets for sale on ebay so I am eagerly awaiting them both since they are both fantastic.

Lego Transformers, Soundwave. This is the third transformer model from LEGO, after Optimus Prime and Bumblebee

Holy shit, I love this set! Both the robot form and the radio form. I also love how you get Laserbeak and Ravage as a bonus.

Four drawbacks though;

1. The transformation sequence can be really annoying; The Lego pieces can be really fragile, and some pieces will definite fall apart.
2. Ravage's casette form kinda looks weird; They wanted its legs' joints to function, and in return the four corners of the casette aren't exactly aligned, leading to a akward-looking casette shape.
3. Didn't Soundwave have more minions? I realize Laserbeak and Ravage are more well known, but I think the set could've featured more minions
4. Kinda expensive, all things considered; $210 inc. tax.

Otherwise, really happy with what I got.

I now want to see Megatron, Strascream, Jetfire, Rachet, Grimlock, and other beloved transformers.

.....If they can figure out Astrotrain, I am gonna shit my pants

Some lightweight pants and camp collar shirts from Huckberry.

They're having sales on some of their light weight summer cloths since summer is over, but given that I live in California and it was still 80 degrees out yesterday seasons mean nothing to me.

Rumble, Frenzy (one is red, one is blue, ask which is which, woe is you), Laserbeak, Buzzsaw (yellow Laserbeak), Ravage, Ratbat, and two non-entities called Slugfist and Overkill who only ever appear in a single scene of the episode "Call of the Primitives" in Generation One Season 3.

A denim jacket (a copy of a 1970s Lee 101 rider jacket) and a copy of Control on PC. It was $4 on steam.

With the kids moved out and health stuff, downsized to 1/3 the amount of space I had so, new digs but had to give away the best 5.1 surround sound system I have ever owned. Demanded I get these to replace it and they are pretty good.

Edifier makes good stuff, I've never had a bad product from them.

They aren't exactly high end, but they get you 95% of the sound for 30% of the budget.

I forget if you like King of Fighters but if you do then you might want to add this to your recent purchases.

I bought myself some Lego, the Himeji Castle set:

View attachment 13489

I think all of the sets in Lego's architecture collection are really cool, but of the 3 that I considered getting (Notre-Dame, Great Pyramid of Giza, and Himeji Castle) I've only actually been to Himeji Castle, so it seemed like the choice.

Now that Notre-Dame has been rebuilt I may visit Paris and then buy that set after.

Unfortunately Egypt is kind of a shithole, so while I would love to go and see the historical sites literally everyone I've ever talked to who has visited Egypt has warned me off.
Oh wow, I gotta add that to my wish list too!

I built Lego Notre Dame a while back. It's a beautiful piece, with amazing details and symmetries. The downside is that the symmetries mean you will be doing lots of repeated-parts. With work schedule, it look me about 22 hours to finish

I appreciate the thoughts, but that one I will not be getting. I like KoF, but not that much to an awesome book like that.

My mouse's (Logitech G502 Hero) wheel has stopped working after several years of near-constant use. I liked this mouse, but I decided to take the opportunity for an upgrade, so I got a good deal on a G502X, specifically because I was looking for a wired mouse. I don't like to use wireless gear when I can avoid it.

Follow-up on this: Amazon delivered my package yesterday by flinging it over the fence into the garden, and then claiming they "left it near the front door or porch". Last time I ever order anything from those fucks.

I would just contact support, say it was never delivered and get a refund.

I bought Batman: The Long Halloween comic. Loving the art style, and can't wait to read the sequel, Dark Victory. Also, it's getting another sequel called The Last Halloween, coming out next year with all of its respective volumes in graphic novel form.
