Still can't change my avatar back to a gif again (at least, from my phone anyway), but I did find I had randomly save this little number right here on my phone and literally brought me a couple a chuckles and so now shall sit as my avatar for the foreseeable future.
(For those who remember or are curious, original avatar model and still All-Time Best Boy Ever, my dog Shadow, is still doing fine. He is, sadly, getting long in the tooth and gray on the snout, and he unfortunately isn't as chipper or even as capable on long walks anymore. But he is still the same, wonderful, lump in my way he has always been, and his happy countenance just hasn't fit the mood of my profile here in sometime. Here's a picture of him from a month or so ago, as he still makes me smile);

Here in the UK, that would shut the entire country's train network down for months while they figure out what "type" of snow it is, decide how to remove it, a few months of train drivers on strike because the tracks are still slightly moist, a judge led inquiry as to how the snow got there in the first place then the health and safety executive to determine whether it's safe to use... Then another strike because the drivers seat is a bit too low.
