I at least finished Deadly Shadows. Can't say the same for the reboot. And then the reboot came to make this look amazing in comparison.
Analysis of what went wrong with Ubisoft.
His takeaway is that Ubisoft will survive but restructured, and his recommendaton is that they should work on making sure that titles that take 5 years to develop should only take 3 years.
Ubisoft can die at this point, and I would live with that just fine.Analysis of what went wrong with Ubisoft.

Man I miss this game.Guy's first Dark Souls playthrough, he makes ALL the mistakes, literally everything that can go wrong in a blind playthrough does. I know they say there's no "wrong" way to play these games, but as he patently states what he's trying to do along the way, even he'd agree he did it wrong. Still ended up calling it one of his favorite games of all time; his next playthrough with wikis and whatnot is going to blow his mind.
I know last year was you first time playing DS1, but have you played DS2, DS3, or Elden Ring? Because the formula is pretty much the same, but improved with each iteration. DS2 gets a lot of things wrong, and I'd skip it personally (fight me, DS2 defenders,) but DS3 is fantastic, and ER is basically FromSoft blowing their Souls load in magnificent fashion.Man I miss this game.
To each their own, imo the formula peak at DS1 and has been mostly downhill from there, I started ER and made it about half way trough before kinda going on to other stuff (might go back one day, but not sure).I know last year was you first time playing DS1, but have you played DS2, DS3, or Elden Ring? I know DS2 is divisive; I also already saw Yahtzee play through the whole thing so it kinda defeats the purpose of looking for adventure. So it's either DS3 or ER and of the two I think I'm more interested in ER since it's the latest one and probably the biggest swing from DS1. Already played Demon's Souls, DS1 and Bloodborne.I know last year was you first time playing DS1, but have you played DS2, DS3, or Elden Ring?
