The colour orange is named after the fruit, not the other way around. So, even those who argue orange juice is orange, would not have used that term to describe that colour before they discovered oranges, and would have probably called it a shade of yellow.
Wikipedia says before 1512 they would have called orange things saffron, crog, or red:

"Before this word was introduced to the English-speaking world, saffron already existed in the English language.[16] Crog also referred to the saffron colour, so that orange was also referred to as ġeolurēad (yellow-red) for reddish orange, or ġeolucrog (yellow-saffron) for yellowish orange.[17][18][19] Alternatively, orange things were sometimes described as red (which then had a broader meaning)[14] such as red deer, red hair, the Red Planet and robin redbreast. When orange was infrequently used in heraldry, it was referred to as tawny or brusk.[14] "

Wondering what the horizon would look like if you were standing on an infinite featureless plane (that was illuminated evenly). Thinking either it would be where your eyesight failed, or it would be a sharp line at an angle parallel to the plane.

I remember loads of movies and shows - primarily American but not exclusively - where whenever there was a fund-raiser of some sort one of the attractions was a kissing booth. And I had to wonder "Okay were these things fucking real?"

Has anyone ever tried tossing a coin while in an aircraft?
How do you mean? What would happen if you did?

If you did it inside the cabin, like in an airliner, then the same thing would happen as if you did it on the ground, provided the plane is cruising at a steady speed. If you toss it straight up, it will go straight up until gravity wins out, then fall straight down until it hits the floor. Because everything inside the enclosed cabin of the plane, including yourself and the coin, inherits the momentum of the plane. You know, thermodynamics.

If you threw it from inside the cabin out of the plane tho, the coin would seem to fly backwards, but what is actually happening is the coin rapidly decelerating because of air resistance while the plane and yourself inside the enclosed cabin are still moving at the same velocity.

Yes, they were.

The same as in tossing a coin in any other vehicle. For anything interesting to happen, you'd have to do it just before the vehicle accelerates (including decelerating or turning), but unless it was a pretty sharp acceleration you'd not notice, and big accelerations are distracting anyway.
