Animaniacs coming back

Especially considering Minerva's entire thing with her cartoons was "Let's see how many innuendos we can cram into a single cartoon segment." I won't miss her. For once I'm glad censors got them to nix something, Mink worked better as a cameo to throw in the occasional sex joke much like Hello Nurse than she ever did as the focus of a cartoon.
I'm glad to see Pinky and the Brain is coming with... so long as they don't have a certain little girl with a skull in her hair come along.
I have known about this for a while since one of my favourite web-comic artists, who is working full time on the series staff, has dropped the occasional hint about the show. I am personally glad that they did not stray too far away from the source materials aesthetic and animation style. The one thing that I found a consistent pet-peeve, no matter how minor, is how characters are shown half crouching or walking incredibly bow-legged at random. I am guessing that they are trying to create some sort of perspective as viewed from the shorter characters but it was always something that irked me, even as a child.
P.S. I really hope there is a way to watch this in Canada or I will throw pinecones with malicious intent over the border.

While Minerva was usually more obvious, there were many cartoons that came afterward, mainly on Cartoon Network, that ended up having more innuendo's (worse in many circumstances) than the Mink could possibly do. Especially Miss Bellum. The only difference being Bellum has the brain and can kick ass.
I would take Minerva a 1000 times over those horrible shorts and Kaite Kaboom. The mother from that horrible short I wanted to Double Dragon knee bash her in the face a million times over. Fuck that biatch! Katie Kaboom I just always wanted to uppercut her in to the stratosphere or dragon kick her ass to the Milky Way. The Goodfeathers could be funny some of the time, but they got old for me after 3rd or 4th episode. I have a feeling that Buttons and Mindy might be coming back. I won't watch those segments.
I never liked Elmyra. It's like they spliced a 50 year old womans head on a 8 year old body.
The problem is that Minerva's entire purpose was to be a sex joke, that's it. Bellum actually did other things besides being a sex joke, regularly at that. If Minerva actually had something else to her especially in her 2 focus cartoons she'd not only be better but she probably wouldn't have ended up canned.
I was referring to Elmyra but yeah, those were pretty one note as well. Mindy's segments were pure slapstick, "let's see how many ways we can possibly harm this ridiculously loyal dog." Which is fine, slapstick always has a place but it quickly got just mean rather than funny. Kaboom? A teenage girl gets massively pissed off for no good reason and blows up the house for the 26th time, it was never funny in the first place. I'd have that girl tossed to the government and say "Here's your free endless WMD!" and forget about it if I was her family.
If they do it won't be until the show has been on for a while. They've already confirmed Buttons and Mindy won't be coming back.

I forgot that they put Elmayra in Pinky and the Brain. You can blame the execs up top with that moves. For whatever dumb reason, they really loved her.
Which is why I hated. It was one of the few times where the writers went too far. Even as a kid, I would do anything or change channel if those segments came on.
