The only MCU movie I can think of is Dr. Strange 2. The rest seem meh to me. But that one sounds terrific.

I thought Rocket Man a miserable slog. Then I heard this is coming out:

I would love to hear more about Bowie without getting miserable.

Any you are anticipating?

The only one I'm excited about is Dune, but since I have no idea when it's actually coming out, my excitement is pretty dampened. Nothing else really comes to mind at the moment.

Not really excited for anything, but I'm hoping the new Matrix and Batman will be good. I like all the Matrix movies. Makes me happy they appear to be going for practical effects again.

Very few other directors would have built a 1.5 mile freeway for Reloaded.

I keep meaning to go back and rewatch the matrix sequels. The last time I saw them was in the theaters, and while I thought Revolutions was....just ok, Reloaded irked me a lot. And I remember my dislike of those films soured me shortly after with V for Vendetta, which I came to love years later. So I am curious to see if my thoughts on the Matrix trilogy might change with time as well. But then I just decide to do something else instead.

Theaters are probably gonna stay closed for a long time, if not close forever. Its been almost a full year without any major releases or blockbusters. I would be shocked if theaters survive the pandemic
Nah, I am confident that the medium will survive this temporary crisis. It might not be in the same format as it is now, and some of the more well known companies might not survive individually. But cinema as an artform and industry is just too massive to completely die out due to a short term issue. We will survive, and people will want to film shit and put it out there for others to see on a big screen. WHEN that will happen, I have no clue.

I liked them the first time. So probably not.
*blinks* You're saying because you liked them the first time, I won't like them on re-watch after 20 years of personal growth and maturity, after pointing out an example by the same directors, of a movie they made that I initially hated, but have since come to love quite a lot?

...I mean...ok? Not really sure how you made that assessment based on the information provided but....whatever.

Still waiting on Wonder Woman '84. Keep dreaming WB, just put it on VOD for Christ sakes. I ain't risking my life to see it.

I still like the first one, despite its flaws. Two and three I absolutely can't stand. More soda third one. The Animatrix is still awesome. Highly recommend over the sequels.

Sorry.

But, the Wachowskis didn't make V for Vendetta. They wrote the screenplay. The book was already there, and is better. Someone else directed. As producers, their credits appear after Grant Hill and Joel Silver.

I am aware it's an adaptation and not their original work. But it's VERY much a Wachowski-esque film in it's feel and presentation.

Nothing much.

There's talk of a new John Wick movie being made at some point, and talk of a petition to have Ian McCallum (sp?), better known as "Gun Jesus" from the Forgotten Weapons channel cameo, so...that?
