Never underestimate faith. There's already talk of paramilitary Trump insurgents in this Nation. His cultists truly, in their hearts, believe he is the return of the Christ, he legally won this election, Biden and his goons stole it and established an illegal Presidency. And it is their patriotic, holy duty to violently resist until their dying breath. They don't view themselves as terrorists, but as the next generation of Patriots who in 150 years will have statues made in their honor.
What happens when 200 armed Trump cultists shutdown the Brooklyn bridge, both ways and stand there armed to the teeth daring law enforcement(historically pro-Trump) to step in and shoot them. What happens when Trump orders a march on Washington with as many guns as you can carry and 20,000 cultists surround the White House and don't leave until Biden and Harris resign? Occupy DC, except instead of kids playing in drum circles, its armed Civil War reenactors who lost their jobs due to Covid and have nothing better to do than wait, armed, until someone blinks. And God told them not to blink.

There's been talk of that for quite a while. Now, absolutely, you will get some people follow through with it, but a lot of militia types are absolutely going to stand up when the time is right, but just get to decide it's not the right time so the don't have to die just now.
I personally doubt Trump would be stupid enough to outright call for a rebellion, he much prefers to hint at things in a safely vague way and let his followers come up with the details (or frighten his opponents into thinking they might).
Again, not to say that you won't have paramilitary groups (or attempts at the same), more likely just armed murderous mobs, but they'd be a small proportion of people claiming to be armed patriots or whatever.

Talk is cheap. The Republican establishment is already turning on Trump. Despite reluctance to call it, its been openly known for at least 2 days who is winning this election. Where's the war? Where's the riots? Where's the bombings?
We've had a few protests, some with guns present, and at least one attempt at electoral fraud, and that's about it.
The war isn't happening. Society collapsing isn't happening. The Supreme Court isn't saving Trump's ass (something you've been assuring us would absolutely happen).
What is happening is a lot of dick waving on the internet.
Trump's cult ultimately follows him because they see him as the ultimate strongman. As he's being revealed for the weak man that he is, they aren't going to die for him, what's glorious about that?
Go outside and get some air. Your line about reasoning with unreasonable people applies to you as well.
By the way, if Trump tries to stay in the Whitehouse surrounded by militia rifles? Pentagon and half a dozen military bases are within a couple of hours. And the military is not backing Trump. Last poll I saw, he didn't even have majority favourable across the armed forces, a wonder for a Republican president.
I'm not so sure of that. Will they all want to admit they accidentally followed a weak pissant for 4 years or will they double down on their support? This is a guy who evangelists support despite his incredibly unchristian life. The working class support despite the fact he shits in a gold toilet. People praise as a straight talker even though they have to assure us "what he really meant was..." over and over. This is just one more time the emporer has come out stark, bollock naked. Why would his cult start calling him on it now? Anyone who defended this guy as "strong" isn't going to admit they were hoodwinked for the last half a decade.
So... his first tweet said it would be at "Four Seasons", which obviously brings to mind the massively famous hotel in the centre of the city. He then corrected himself by saying its at Four Seasons Total Landscaping.... a small gardening firm in an industrial estate in the outskirts, next to a pornography shop.
Uhrm... did the President literally just book the wrong venue, and is now too proud to admit his stupidity?
