It's like a greatest hits of all his lies and misstatements from this week rolled into one, even including claims that have been overthrown in court.

Gotta give Donnie something, he ain't no quitter.
He can't quit. He knows if he quits, he's gonna have to commit suicide in shame. Two bullets to the back of the head with a pair of concrete shoes at the bottom of The Volga...

Those who fail Putin tend to end up committing suicide like that a lot

Also, Biden won Nevada. as soon as no one cares they finally finished counting.

Georgia, Arizona, North Carolina, and Alaska are left.

by that I mean Georgia and Arizona

So wait, I'm learning about this stuff for the first time: https://www.ncsl.org/research/elections-and-campaigns/the-electoral-college.aspx

"Nov. 3, 2020: Election Day, when voters in each state will select their presidential electors. The names of electors are not on the ballot in most states. Rather, when a voter casts a vote for a presidential candidate, s/he is also casting a vote for the electors already selected by the party of that candidate. If a majority of voters in a state vote for the Republican candidate for president, the Republican slate of electors is elected. If a majority vote for the Democratic candidate, the Democratic slate of electors is chosen."

So, apparently, nobody actually voted for the President yet, they just voted for the electors who will be doing the actual voting (the electoral college), which isn't happening until December 14th.

Wild.

We gonna have about 3 months of going back in forth.
I'd much rather have Trump spend the time until January whining about the election and filing spurious lawsuits than many of the much worse things he could still do with presidential authority.

I mean him actually accepting reality would be the best outcome, but that's as likely as the sun turning purple tomorrow.

it's an artifact back when communication was much more difficult. it was much better just to send a representative.

Also If one of those representatives wants to switch their vote he would probably be beaten to death in the street. I'm not even joking, it's basically committing suicide. electing the president of the Free World is serious business and honestly it hard to even blame people for being that mad.

So, the "Sharia law" thing is entirely about hating a tiny minority based on laws that they probably would support that would never actually be a problem in the first place, and the article is about the "politics of hate", and you really don't see the irony? You're really that oblivious?
A tiny minority of actually hateful individuals.......which would mean actually blocking said law would make sense. They won't be a problem but why fight a law to block something awful that is extremely unlikely to happen

I can't wait to see how Qanon will spin this.
Oh have you not seen the Infowars clip going round claiming all the official government ballots have a blockchain code watermark on them which can be traced and the encryption on the code is near impossible to break without the government system so they can track every vote and expose the fraud. The National Guard being sent into various states was in preparation for arresting the suspected poll stuffers.

It be funny that once he is officially kicked out, twitter will permanently ban him.
Just remember you may one day end up saying "And then they came for me"
So don't be so ready to celebrate trying to shut down some-one speaking even if that person is a moron like Trump.

OH! MY! FUCKING! GOD!
It would have to be looked into.

All the BS about "There's no fraud".
It might be very little fraud but it's a race that's very close.
Even UK elections which are seen as more secure than the USA have fraud attempts made and on some occasions small bits of fraud found.

Any profit Trump would get is profit that Fox could have gotten if Trump TV didn't exist. Overlapping viewer base, overlapping timeslots lost ad placement opportunities.
Well CNN and MNBC mostly do fine competing etc

Here's the thing a lot of people don't understand. Trump isn't going away, at least his influence. He got the second most votes out of any presidential candidate behind the person he was running against. Much of the Republican party is going to model themselves after Trump to capture that magic. Say what you will about Trump but he United the right and created a powerful Cult of Personality.

Trump is the next Reagan. The Republican party is now the Trump party
Depends how much you try to curtail his influence.

Some networks were already refusing to broadcast statements and other stuff by him.

Kick him off twitter and facebook and you remove a lot of his platform

In practice electors very occasionally vote for someone other than who they're supposed to, but it's exceedingly rare.

as far as I know, it's never been the deciding factor of an election anyway but if someone did it and that decided the election. he would basically be committing a complicated form of suicide

January 21st (or whatever the inaguaration date is these year) rolls around, Biden is sworn in, and Trump just becomes an intruder in the White House whom Secret Service removes. Nobody there is going to stick their neck out for him.
It's always January 20th after the EC certifies the election.

And even if Trump declines to physically remove himself from the White House, assuming he isn't drug out on his heels at 12:01p, Biden would take power as of noon. If Trump and an army of supporters barracade himself in there, he still isn't president and I suspect Biden would be spending his first few days in Foggy Bottom, Camp David, the Treasury, or some other secured complex with a SCIF while they figured out how to physically remove the prior occupant with minimal collateral damage.
When are we getting Biden victory speech?
He gave a defacto victory speech last night.

Right. And what half-arsed second-rate talents might those guys be? I'll bet you if Trump University had been set up by someone who had the faintest idea what they were doing and adequate backing, that could have been a perfectly good college. Will Trump TV have the investment, knowledge and talent to get anywhere? Because very possibly it's an absurd pipe-dream that if it receives the go-ahead will start a two-bit operation that collapses in a year or two. I say again: what's Trump's record outside the property business, except bad?
Worth pointing out Infowars still exists. Blaze TV still exist. They'll just hock supplements, survival rations and I dunno gold buying schemes or crypto schemes

As for Trump university, it likely made more money as a sham university than regular ones make.

As for where Trump has had success. Seemingly merchandising and branding. I don't think Trump Steaks have gone under even apparently being considered lower quality than their competitors.

As to the rest, his casino failures allowed him a tax write-off, but a tax-write off does nothing but erase losses. It doesn't actually make money. And plenty of his golf courses - including major ones - have been running at a loss for a long time. He lost ~$160M on the Trump Doral 2012-2018, and his European golf clubs lost over $60M in a similar period.
Yeh but you have to remember the 2nd most popular film in it's release year Forrest Gump according to the studios behind it made a loss. With a $55 Million budget and a $650 Million worldwide return studio accounting managed to determine it was a loss.

The question really has to be did Trump make a loss or just one on the books while "Senior Trump Inc" the totally independent company in a Tax haven claimed licencing revenues for the use of the Trump brand?

Dude. Fox News is a money-making business. It's not there to have ideological media allies for an ultimate political end, it's there to dominate a segment of the marketplace and claim those viewers (and thus revenue) for itself.
It is but it likely would rather have some-one else to be targeted. I mean how many times have people launched mass campaigns to get Fox News advertisers to pull out of various shows?
Having Trump TV about means the rage is split more thus campaigns targeting advertisers will likely be smaller and advertisers less likely to pull out which in the end could be more profitable.

I'm fearful this may become a riot.

although I have the funny image in my head of Trump winning Arizona, his supporters cheering despite the fact they already lost the election

Edit: Also also these Mass protests are probably not going to help with the Coronavirus

Well, it seems Biden may still win (EDIT: Arizona). Last update from this morning puts them at 49.6% Biden and 48.9% Trump and a difference of 20k ballots between them and about 125k ballots total left. This sounds like it would be an easy Trump win, but so far from each of the ballot updates, Trump has only been doing just over 50%, and would need to pull in a greater percentage of remaining ballots than he has been receiving up to this point to win. It will be close though, 10-8k for Biden at the end I feel.
