The boots you licked let this happen. You wanted to empower the police against the people who have been warning of this for years and are shocked that the police support the people you told them to support?
When? Genuinely when? I don't mean to gaslight, I know this is indistinguishable from gaslighting to anyone who hasn't read every comment I've ever made, but when did I tell the police to support anyone in particular?

And warning about what? That dumb people would riot and one would get shot? Like "Tstorm! If you keep licking those boots, people might take selfies in Pelosi's office! You must change your sinful ways!" Like, come on. Stop with the "we were right" bullcrap, if anything you were all warning about police and military coups, and it's the rioters being shot, not Congress. The exact opposite of the warnings is coming true.

That's your standard? Nevermind I've explicitly said in this thread that Biden won, all the votes should count, and I have no interest in overturning the election. You judge me responsible for crazy people storming the Capitol because I didn't fight Houseman for you? Wat?
You said you've been advocating against this the whole time. You've been pretty quiet for someone allegedly doing that.

When ANTIFA was trying to tell you the police are not your friends and that "backing the blue" will turn against you. They very nearly allowed a coup to happen, because the police are not interested in protecting or serving.

No, they're definitely not your people. After all, as you keep telling us, Trump is a Democrat, so his supporters are actually Democrats, so it was Democrats that stormed the Capitol, QED. And they're the people you've been opposing all these years, so it only proves how right you were all along.
I genuinely appreciate the snark here, but you're like 30% accurate by accident. These people aren't Republicans. They aren't Democrats or Republicans. The dreaded Trump People are the same as they've ever been, politically unaligned. They surprised the polls because Trump People are in large part the maligned populace who never voted for either party. They like Trump, they like Republicans only so far as they can carry Trump, and now he's not being carried so this happens.

Neither party owns the malcontents that hate both parties, whether they're Trump people or Antifa.

These rioters and antifa rioters are functionally indistinguishable. My advocacy against antifa IS advocacy against the insanity like this.

If I don't comment, you take that to mean I changed my mind? Is this like the button in Lost where I have to type in the code every couple hours or the world ends?

"They're indistinguishable!"

Which ones have broke into state buildings, twice now, to threaten elected officials? Which group is trying to overthrow democracy? Which group do the police support?

Once again, I had to look at ignore to find out what's going on.

So, I'm just trying to get this straight.

"Democrats stole the Election" That's all democrats, but it's fine that they put it like that.

"BLM rioted and did property damage" Again, that's all of BLM. Not just a few members.

"That's how they are" Looping all into one.

But in today's events that were solely done by Republicans "Why must I be associated because they all came from my party"

This feels like nuance is only allowed to a select few...

Of course he supports it. The masquerade is fuckin' over. Trump's supporters have always been the lowest of the low, the dregs of society. One inch away from right wing terrorism. Especially the ones who voted twice for the guy. They literally want Trump to be president for life, and after he's gone they want another one just like him. He hates all the right people that they hate. It's all that matters to these racists.

Trying to put an equals sign between this event and BLM is another giveaway. They just can't help themselves. They can't really denounce Trump and what's been happening without revealing who they really are. It happens every time. They're just not that smart.

Both, both, and neither.

Like, when antifa tries to set federal buildings on fire, and conservative twitter people post pictures of the police standing aside and letting it happen and calling them complicit, I guarantee you can recognize "bullcrap, the police aren't supporting antifa". The exact same applies here.

Does it really matter?
You know I'm a Republican, you know I'm not a fan of the Democratic Party. You know what I didn't do? Blame Democrats for anarchist riots.

Blaming Republicans for the crimes of people who seemingly want to blow up Republicans is supporting the criminals just to spite the party you don't like. Don't be a jerk.
Your Republican president has continued to refuse to concede an election he lost fair and square, instead crying fraud for the last two months, and that the election was stolen from him.

Your Republican president effectively said that the Georgia run-offs were a waste of time, as they were just going to be stolen by the Democrats.

Your Republican president suggested that his Vice-president could overturn the election.

Your Republican president has spend his entire time in office attacking the free press that dares to critise him, disagrees with him, or just says things he happens to disagree with.

And many more things.

All the while Republican Senators, Representatives, Judges and supporters have agreed with him, kissed his ass, licked his boots, and cheered for him all the way.

Finally your Republican president has yet to condem the actions of this mob, still claiming fraud, and the election was stolen.

The Republicans own this farce in its entirety. They riled up this mob. This has not happened over the last two months.

This has been four years in the making.

I never said anything about BLM, and I actively criticized antifa for coopting BLM events and destroying any chance for progress. Those two are not the same thing. Why can't any of you distinguish between more than two groups at a time?

And I didn't even vote for Trump twice. Why invent these things?

I don't recall ANTIFA breaking into any government building recently.
I don't recall ANTIFA being anti-democratic, that's literally the opposite of what they are.
I do recall however that the police have beaten and shot ANTIFA and BLM protestors while they've been taking selfies with the people storming the capital.

Well, it's very simple. These ones are fascists trying to engage in a fascist coup. Antifa are aligned with various ideologies, but all of them oppose fascism.
Antifa comes from 1930s German antifascists who were aligned with Joseph Stalin, and they defined fascism as any sufficiently developed form of capitalism, believing that capitalism was only forgivable as a transition from older systems to communism. Original Antifa considered all capitalists to be fascists and actively worked to overthrow liberal democracy.

I can't say everyone who supports Antifa even knows that much, more or less supports that idealogy, but it's not as simple as "they're anti-fascists and fascists are bad, so they're not bad." If someone defines fascism to include liberal democracy, their antifascism is just as dangerous to society as fascism, as both seek to destroy society as we know it.

Never criticize Houseman again. This is as pedantic as anything he's ever posted. RECENTLY? Are you kidding me? It was like 6 straight months of throwing fireballs at courthouses, and you're qualifying the argument with "recently"? Like, dangit.

Edit: Where's Obsidian to ask again why people here engage with bad arguments? This level of argumentation is not one user. Not by a long shot.

No, they don't. Do Democrats own every other riot for the past year? No. Rioters own riots, and Republicans (save maybe Trump, though is a Democrat after all) have condemned rioting consistently.

No, I just qualify damaging hollow property as not nearly the same thing as directly threatening individuals and looking for a lynching. The people in the capitol had been stalking the halls with guns asking "where are they?!"

Setting fire to a building after hours from outside is so much of a far cry from that it's not even funny. And the fact that that is what warrants a police response, but not execution squads is what's wrong with the country. Because it's what people like you call for whether you mean to or not.
