Whatever, just wash your hands.
That has no relation to what we were talking about.
You are being fooled by clearly false info and buying into it. You are listening to someone say "stolen election" and your thought process is ending there and you are just accepting what they say as true.

You literally said they didn't have guns.
No, I literally did not. I said "no, none of them were openly carrying firearms."
I would be a fool to claim that absolutely none of them had guns concealed on their person.

I'm looking at, and just showed you, video evidence of individuals counting ballots, while nobody is standing over their shoulder to check that things are being done properly. This was posted in response to your claim that the elections were transparent.

The favour shall be returned 20 fold though if that is the game people wish to play.

So about that AOC hoody for the Green New deal that used Plastic fibre?
Yes, that's definitely up there with violent insurrection.

Depends on what damage was actually done. So far I've seen a few broken windows in photos etc but not much in the way of monuments etc permanently damaged.
Well, his tweet said 'damage'. There was damage as you said.

I'll look at the tweet again to see if there was a clause about permanently damage, but I didn't see it.

His re-enactment of the law said "any" "damage" "and "Federal Building". The quantifier he used didn't have a percentage other than Zero to any number greater than zero.

This proviso about 'what damage is done' is seemingly coming from other sources. Not what Trump said for all of us to see.

BLM didn't storm congress nor did they try to topple democracy. So if they were to do so I'd hold them to the same standard.
I can't knock you for drawing a line. Storming congress is not okay, but burning down a precinct and taking over blocks as "autonomous zones", denying access to emergency services, is fine? Seems like a silly line to draw, but fair enough at least you are consistent, as those are two very different things.

You showed a video from someone who is clearly biased and wants this to be true, if this shit didn't hold up in court with trump appointed judges then its bunk and not worth the disk space.

Pelosi has called for trumps immediate removal using the 25th amendment.

You're confusing the issues.

Whether or not a lack of observers is legally allowable according to state's rules, and whether or not the election was transparent are two different things.
A state can set up a rule that all ballots are to be counted in secret, by democrats only, and it would be legal. It wouldn't be transparent.

In Georgia, observers have no power to challenge ballots, are not legally required to be there, and it's okay to just have them "in the room", even if it's a roped-off section in the corner, as far away from the ballots as possible. This is legal, but not transparent.

People just flat-out denying it is what got the capitol stormed in the first place.

Wouldn't it be better if you could convince the capitol-stormers that the election wasn't compromised? Then EVERYONE would hold the belief that the election was safe and secure, instead of just democrats.

It doesn't really sound like a radical concept: Proving to other people that they're wrong instead of just going "No, you're wrong!"

This whole thing wouldn't have happened if the states could have just done the audits (real audits) and had transparent elections like everyone wanted.
"We've finished the audit(The real one this time)."
"Does that mean Trump have won?"
"Well... No. More irregulaties were discovered, but still not enough to overturn Biden's victory."
"My God... So the corruption drives even deeper than we thought."

In Georgia, observers have no power to challenge ballots, are not legally required to be there, and it's okay to just have them "in the room", even if it's a roped-off section in the corner, as far away from the ballots as possible. This is legal, but not transparent.
Yeah, that might seem problematic... Well, here's lesson for the future.
Maybe people could lobby for a change of the law, so you could avoid those shades of doubt in next elections. Too bad, that'd not change the current outcome since lex retro non agit etc.

Georgia held 3 recounts, Biden won Georgia. Video can be used to lie rather easily, hell we even saw that during the riots at the capital yesterday. People cut footage of the cops opening a gate barricade thing to prove the cops were with the rioters, if you watch the full clip, the camera pans to show there were already rioters inside the area so the gate was pointless anyway.

Once again, that has no relation to what we were talking about.
We were talking about transparent elections.

Four people died. Capitol Police said officers were attacked with metal pipes and chemicals, and quite a few officers are hospitalised. And there were two improvised bombs, and several unlicensed firearms.
3 due to medical issues according to I think it was the BBC.

It's super easy to just want to revel in how 'horrible' the 'others' are at this moment. But we can't get on everyone else's case for just saying heresy tweets without any back up.

If there's a video of a woman saying that, then a morbid sense of vindication will be had. Until then, I'll await the evidence.

Houseman, can you tell us how you're not a fascist when you're literally posting comics from Stonetoss, a widely known holocaust denier, white supremacist, homophobe and antisemite? NONONONONO, stop right there! You don't get to ask us to tell how you are, it's on you to tell us how you're not one.
He just likes the line work.

Absolutely gutted by the hypocrisy in America. I can honestly say I’m ashamed to be an American today. We’ve already been the laughing stock of the world for the past 4 years, now we’re just a disgusting thing to behold. Trump and his supporters, sorry, his CULT are the complete and total epitome of the detritus of humanity. I don’t “hate” easily or often, but damn, when you see shit like yesterday’s debacle, how can you NOT hate them as much as they disrespect basic, human decency in return? Why do they think it’s ok for them to riot and threaten the fundaments of our nation for what they think they deserve atop their position of privilege, but anyone else who peacefully asks for equity shouldn’t? Why were they effectively allowed? I’m not angry. I passed angry long ago. I’m at a level of disappointment far beyond my normal level of disaffectedness that I couldn’t imagine. I hope we’ll be capable of better once this orange, piece of shit, bastard-ass clown is finally ousted, but too many of his “patriots” have shown their hand to make forgetting what they’ve done an option. Trump, Trump supporters? GO. TO. HELL. January 20th should be a national holiday from this moment forth.

That's really not even worth wondering. It never has been.

Why would they feel fine rioting and attacking fundamentals of the nations democracy?

We are all depressed but I just want to say something, despite all the lawsuits, despite all the hate, despite the rise of nationalism fever bringing on idiocy, and despite Trump's cult breaking into the capitol itself our democracy did not break, it bent and rusted because of that orange fucking blob but it held. Trump and his Cult could not change the fact that Biden won and the Republicans paid dearly for propping up his idiocy by losing the house, the Senate, and the presidency.

I feel like that's something we should be proud of. our system may be flawed but it is able to keep out tyranny no matter how much power the Tyrant may have had.
Yes I'm sure all those soon to fear the coming drones in the middle east will be very proud of the USA.

People who don't learn from history and all that................

But they weren't. Only in Trump's fairy land were they compromised. Everyone in the real world already dismissed that.
Which is weird because in 2016 the same people were claiming they were so definitely stolen and there was all these security holes etc.

Hope people don't get whiplash from how fast the narrative keeps changing these days.

I'm not depressed. The Capitol thing is mad, but I think it's good that we've put faces and names to domestic terrorism. Right-thinking people can see now how far they've slipped and can start trying to make reparations. Obviously there's going to be a number of idiot hold-outs, but they won't have the backing they once had.
ah yes "The price you will pay" and "Reparations" and "truth committees" couldn't possibly go wrong at all or be abuse in any way by some people calming to be socialists...........

Apples, oranges.

No one said that Trump's 2016 victory didn't happen. They might have said it was due to Russian interference and Comey being a rat, but no one said he secretly didn't win the electoral college.
