For sure, strong art design ages gracefully. 6th gen in particular often cleans up really well with just a resolution boost and some AA. In some way, better than most PS360 era games.

Definitely take a minute to watch a stream or a video on it before you commit to buy. I really like the gameplay but my SO went in thinking "so after some delivery bullshit I get to play Hideo-style Fallout, right?" and that is super not what happens in this game.

I forgot how aggressively horny for the player gatcha games can be.

I've been playing ones where they're horny for each other and I'm more comfortable with that

(She also, like, changes physically when near those other gals due to lovecraftian cult backstory shenanigans)

Oh yeah I’m aware of what DS generally entails. I’ve been looking for a game that takes traversal mechanics to a new level. Maybe not exactly the genre I’d have initially thought or preferred, but when it has Hideo levels of attention to detail along with other eccentricities peppered in then I’m all-in regardless.

Did a quest and broke a violent nun's AI after defending myself from whatever bullshit she was attacking me for. She wouldn't even speak to me after that! (Well, not until getting uncomfortably close to her squats in the way only a videogame would allow)
