After going through pretty much all the main guns, I've taken a liking to the good ol' D-AR's

Hm, local chain got plenty secondhand copies. Also got a coupon about to expire. Played and liked first game. Could get this for a fiver including shipping. Worth in your opinion?
Keep in mind I still haven’t finished it, but yeah if you didn’t grow too tired of that open world, scavenger-hunt-of-all-things-blippy-on-the-minimap kind of design, then it should be entertaining enough even if that price didn't include shipping!
To nitpick though, I noticed instantly that Delsin doesn’t feel nearly as connected with the game world as Cole did. He’s far more floaty feeling to control, both on foot and when climbing or airborne. It’s a step back in a way, and the use of smoke/steam as a catalyst for his powers is more visually interesting than anything gameplay-related so far. The map clearing elements also feel pretty long in the tooth and borderline grindy at this point, but there are enough interesting side activities to add some variety.
I also haven’t acquired many powers yet, but from what I’ve heard they’re a redeeming factor in the face of the game’s shortcomings.
