It's more the massively awkward digital and futuristic representation of God and religion at the end of every Assassins Creed title that I have a problem with. It feels incredibly out of place in every game they've used it in.

Crap, you're right, I must've had BioWare in my mind after responding to a previous comment on my Dragon Age 2 review. Which also talked of flaws in story telling. At at least AC:B is nowhere near as flawed. Stupid of me, heading to fix that now.

Every ending so far has made me cringe. Ubisoft need to find a balance in the satisfation of the ending event, and pulling players in with a cliffhanger. Mass Effect 2 got it right, Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood not so much. Although Brotherhood's ending was slightly better than Assassin...
