With games it doesn't matter to me much but with anime it does. Bad English dubs are excruciating to watch, and sometimes only one season of something gets dubbed so I'd rather watch subs so the voices stay the same all the way through. I've even watched both the dubs and subs of some shows and...
Couldn't agree more. I read one chapter after the time-skip and gave up. I heard how it ended but I still won't let anything detract from the anime as a stand-alone story; it's too good to ruin.
Odd to find someone who enjoys a lot of the same anime as me - most share a favourite or two but...
Here's mine: I opted to make it 16:9 instead of a square.
Left to right: Tatami Galaxy, Kara no Kyoukai, Natsume Yuujinchou, Bakemonogatari, Usagi Drop, Mushi-shi, Spice and Wolf, Ghost in the Shell, Steins;Gate.
Yeah I have weird taste.
An excellent piece of music will sound good to pretty much everyone. Of course, some genres are generally better received than others; it's easier to get people to agree that a well composed, sweeping orchestra piece is fantastic than any metal/rap/dubstep etc. I also think exposure might help...
Moviebob did a whole article on Frozen, which might help you understand the wave of praise it's getting. http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/moviesandtv/moviebob/10778-Lets-Talk-About-the-Ending-of-Frozen
This happens to me all the time - the one that currently boggles my mind is...
Maybe I'm only saying this because I don't play many artsy games, or because I just really like it, but, The Swapper.
It's not going to make you cry, or hurt you in the feels at all. It won't make your eyes pop out of your head at its gorgeous art. It did leave an impact on me however, and...
I'd like to take a story with a great deal of emphasis on the power of friendship and an equally bland hero, cut them out of the story, and dump Koko Hekmatyar in their place. I'm thinking maybe we put her in as the Trainer from any Pokemon game. I have no idea where that would lead, but I think...
I don't really pay attention to the ending themes so I can't think of a single one, but I do remember the openings.
My favourite overall is definitely Baccano
Honourable mentions go to:
-Durarara!
-GiTS: SAC
-Hyouka (both openings)
-Utawarerumono (just the song)
I think GTA is incredibly boring. I'm also a JRPG fan who doesn't like any of the Final Fantasy games (except the tactics games.) I actively dislike pretty much every FPS game, and I really, really dislike dogs.
Well, Diablo III on consoles is the same story and everything as the PC version; grinding is still a thing though the console versions have different loot systems. The comparison I made to Champions/Dark Alliance is just meant to assuage fears of a console port of a mouse-heavy game (they...
On consoles it is reminiscent to games like Champions of Norath/Return to Arms or the Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance games (all four are PS2 games.) I'm not sure if you've played any of them, but they are fantastic fun.
Dragon's Crown co-op is stellar. there's even some ways to compliment each others' choice of character. If you're worried about replay value, Dragon's Crown has a lot of content.
Diablo III was also great on consoles, though I didn't like the PC version. I've played local multiplayer in it...
For an Anime I'd have to go with Shiki - and I don't normally like anything to do with vampires.
For games I'd have to say The Swapper - that ending fits the tone of the game so well.
I can't think of any movie or tv series that I could say has the Best ending so I'll leave it with those two.
I've been looking forward to this since I heard about it about a year ago. I think what they need most right now is voice actors; Morrowind had a ludicrous amount of dialogue in it. Maybe I'll help out... it'd freak my brother out if he ran into an NPC with my voice xD
I really hope...
