I'm notifying my Game-Design-&-Development-II professor about this. We just finished the first complete round of tabletop game development. I've contributed to one game and playtested another four games that could qualify for this.

I've sampled the original NES Metroid, it was adorable.
Super Metroid perturbs me with its constant habit of trapping me in sections and having me spend over a half-hour figuring out how to escape an area. If Samus is the most powerful in Super Metroid than I aint feeling it.
