I don't use ad block, but I am sorely tempted these days. Forget about "convenience": These days several sites will wrench control out of your hands and force you to click "leave this page" and such several times, often every damn time you go somewhere else on the site! That is unacceptable...

I disagree. I've found a plethora of good sales, and I check by daily. In the big winter sale I believe I bought about 5-7 games for just around 60$ Each game usually costs 30-50 dollars when not on sale. Don't even get me started on the previous summer sale...

Cover based shooting alienates fans? Are you kidding? ME3 was an EXCELLENT game until the last ten minutes! Both ME3 and ME2 were far more fun to play then ME1. Dragging the ME3 ending into this as an example is nonsense.

And again, if it is rendered moot in the easy mode then it DOESN'T MATTER. You don't HAVE TO play with that mode. An easy mode can be something as simple as readjusting enemy HP and Damage. It doesn't mean jack shit for those who play the hard mode regardless. Your delicious challenging game...
