BattleTech Kicks Butt, Reaches Kickstarter Goal in 53 Minutes

Hopefully this will be like the tabletop version and the mechs will be able to punch, kick and hit each other with blown off mech limbs. That was always my favorite part.

    X-Com 2 this November.

Gonna be honest I was kinda hoping they'd do an updated version of Terror From the Deep. Being able to fight what are essentially Lovecraftian horrors would have been amazing with the new engine. Although I can't even begin to imagine how they would handle underwater combat. Still this...

Charging for Skyrim Mods Was a Horrendous Idea

It's certainly nice to read an article about this whole debacle that isn't parroting the whole "hurrr gamers are entitled" nonsense some of the other sites have been saying for a change.

Star Wars: Battlefront Will Ignore the Prequels, Free Ep. VII DLC Planned

Back in ye olden times of 2010 when Battlefield Bad Company 2 came out if you bought the game new you could get all the downloadable map packs for free. All of them. The only paid expansion was Bad Company 2 Vietnam. If you bought the game used I think it was five or ten bucks for all the map packs.

Postal Rejected by Google Play for "Gratuitous Violence"

I wasn't at first. Untill I checked the Google Play store and saw that Carmageddon is indeed on there with the tagline "so many pedestrians so little time" and everything. So yeah this does seem a bit suspect to me.

    Warhammer 40K Newb tips

The cool thing about Chaos is it has a lot of opportunities for customization. For example you could take some beastmen models from warhammer fantasy and convert them into Khorne worshipping xenos cultists. Or you could take some skeleton models and paint them florescent blue to represent...

Rock Band 4 Landing This Year, Will Support Past DLC

I just hope they include a tutorial like the one they had in two. I used to bring rick band around to parties and the tutorials in two perfect for teaching new people how to play. For some reason in three they left them out. If I wanted to teach someone how to play rock band I had to switch...

    MovieBob leaving The Escapist

You don't have to go that far. I managed to find the "lay down with dogs" and "no bad tactics" tweets with a simple google image search. They were the first couple things that came up when you searched "Bob Chipman tweets" https://i.imgur.com/yt8WDJy.png http://i.imgur.com/lmpzfbl.jpg

Space Marine Director Talks Plot for Would Be Sequels

It's a ashame. I really enjoyed Space MArine. Personally I think they should make a Gorka Morka game and get Tim Schafer's Double Fine studio to do it.

Old Games you remember playing but can't remember the name of.

It kind of sounded like one of the Dungeon Keeper games or Lords of Magic but I don't think thats it. It might be Dungeons and Dragons Dragon Shard. http://www.gog.com/game/dungeons_dragons_dragonshard Only reasons I think it's this is because the hige eyeball boss sounds every much like a...
