Do you prefer game reviews from YouTube users, or corperations?

Both. I do read a lot of reviews by the gaming media and also people on Youtube, such as Angry Joe and TotalBiscuit (who I think give well balanced views).

What games are you "loud and proud" to be a fan of?

Mass Effect 3 - overall it was a very good game and I didn't think the ending was as bad as people said. I get that it didn't reflect the choices made in the game but it still made me cry (but then I played the whole trilogy of games, one after the other). Assassin's Creed - I am a fan of the...

Gaming In Color Documentary Explores Queerness in Games

@roseofbattle - thanks for the link and information. I was not aware of the documentary.

Games that you will never play. Ever.

Any MMORPGs. I don't get enough time to play a SP game these days! Also not a fan of sports games (although I love football/soccer, I don't want to play it in a game). But the top of my list would be Call of Duty. I have seen videos/heard stories about 'enthusiastic' players that have put...

    Aversion to Children

I am in my early 40s and I do not have children. I have never had the desire to. I don't have regrets at the moment, but that is not to say I may not feel the same way in the future. I don't have an aversion to children. I love my neice more than anything. Yes, she is hard work, but she gives...

Uncharted Game Director Leaves Naughty Dog for Riot Games

I don't know, after Amy Hennig leaving and now this, it does leave me a little concerned :-\

What's your favorite video game of all time?

I have two. My first is Legend of Zelda, Link's Awakening for the original Gameboy. It introduced me to the Zelda world and i've been a fan ever since. My second is Dragon Age Origins. It was a game with a great story and characters I really cared about. I still play it now.

Indie Publisher Kickstarting Fan Fiction Novelists

There is some really good fanfic out there. I have to admit to preferring AU kind of stories. But there have been some stories where you do look forward to the next chapter. There are a few writers that I would support if they had their own fiction published, because their work is so well...

Zero Punctuation: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

I felt the review was quite positive! AC:Bf is a heck of a lot better than AC3 and a lot more fun. And more colourful. Edward Kenway is so much better than Connor, he actually has some personality and I love it that he comes from Swansea! I have to admit though I do spend most of the time...

How much time do you get to play video games?

I work full time, so don't really get home until 7 at night, so I'm lucky if I am able to play it for an hour or two in the evening (sometimes I don't even get the chance to play). And at weekends, I am lucky to fit in about three hours over the day, in between doing other things. So on...

    "Next gen" graphics on PC

All games I play look so much better on my PC than on my little Xbox 360 (which I do love). I cannot tell you how great Skyrim looks (but then I am using 30 difference mods). Even Dragon Age Origins looks so much better on my PC (but then again, there's mods!) And there's the load times (so...

Why Would Anyone Preorder A Console?

With all the marketing around, I can see why people would pre-order. Even I was tempted at a gamer expo I went to, but I was good! I like what both consoles have to offer, but I have to say I really wouldn't know which one would be best. I like Xbox Live, the controller is great...

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Review - Pirate this Game!

I must admit it took me a while to get into AC3 and at times I found it a frustrating game. But I received AC4:BF today and although I have only been playing it a couple of hours, I love it already (the sunny Caribbean helps). And Edward - I'm really liking him! You wouldn't think him and Connor...
