What is the most difficult, but enjoyable game you've ever played?

if you die, there are several ways to penalize the player: death is permanent, you start over. Example: Diablo II: hardcore Mode Amnesia: Justine also did this, as you couldn't save. Loss of Items/Gold/experience/ammo/etc. kind of tired right now, so can't think of any more right now.

What is the most difficult, but enjoyable game you've ever played?

also, I do like amnesia, it's got great atmosphere, it's just death has no consequences, so it stops being scary, as the monsters don't screw you up that bad. Here is one game that does scare me: Minecraft. why? because when you die, it doesn't quickload, you lose all you gear, and if you go...

What is the most difficult, but enjoyable game you've ever played?

eh, I beat amnesia, on Halloween night, but night isn't scary, as I'm nocturnal, due to light sensitivity. this lead to not getting scared, and got through the game without needing light in-game either. Have it, both on ps2, and Steam, and beat it on both. Notch is funding a sequel, at least...

What is the most difficult, but enjoyable game you've ever played?

I can beat the original in 8 hours, and I think majora's mask is harder. I never had a gamecube, so I haven't had the chance to play master quest.

What is the most difficult, but enjoyable game you've ever played?

Now I just remembered Battletoads for the NES. Oh, the pain. "Alas, poor yorrick, he played battletoads, and was reduced to but a skull." is what a parody of hamlet (made my gamers) should include. Eh, not really fond of military shooters, or games based in reality.

What is the most difficult, but enjoyable game you've ever played?

Ok, I do have 2 consoles: a PS2, and a DS. I have been playing CV: Dawn of Sorrow. My parents live about 4 blocks away, and they got a Wii. I have Final Fantasy Tactics, got crystalized too many times, I go back and play it once in a while. they dumbed down the difficulty for the GBA and DS...

Are there any good first person adventure games around?

well, it has two sequels, and there is Amnesia, the dark descent. I really like dungeon hack, it's and old AD&D 1st person view dungeon crawl adventure, but it's very unforgiving. my advice for DH is make a cleric.

What is the most difficult, but enjoyable game you've ever played?

What is the most difficult, but enjoyable game you've ever played? I am looking for a game that is difficult, on purpose, but still really enjoyable. I've heard of dark souls, but I'm looking for a PC game, as I don't have a console, and I suck, SUCK, at console gaming, which is one of the...

    Experiences with Feminists

teal is green-blue, and fuchsia is a light, unsaturated purple. oddly enough most men are slightly color blind to at least a minor degree. I got lucky, and I can see colors as well as girls. I'm a bit feminine for a guy, that's also part of the lucky, at least in my book.

    Experiences with Feminists

I'm a male feminist, because what feminist do effects males as well. we (all feminist) don't work towards female rights, but social equality of the genders, and that could continue further into equality of all groups, including completely tolerant humanity.

List of things that we find annoying, feel free to contribute.

I really need to vent, so I am composing a list of things that I, and maybe even you, find annoying. Feel free to post anything you find annoying, or discuss any of the items listed by anyone. first, the petty stuff: -Star Wars Changes made by George Lucas with-in last 5 years...

    Holy shit, Skyrim...

eh, the problem is simply this: I did play it without mods for the first two weeks, and got bored because I could already kill pretty much everything at level one. I'm a bit of a Daggerfall Veteran, so combat is easy for me. I don't even have problems with combat in dungeon hack. I got bored...

    Holy shit, Skyrim...

I put sith lightning and morgul blades in it, i kill everything at 1st level. I know the lore, so I have the right to break it by including starwars and LoTR, all I need is weapons from Fallout, and the lore will bend to my will. I get bored easily.

Baldur's Gate, or, the first game to nearly make me break my PC from sheer frustration

This is what you get for playing 4th edition, BG is 2nd edition. I actually have been playing since 2nd edition, and can survive solo in Dungeon Hack, but only with a cleric, as healing is necessary as breathing is in reality. Don't worry, just think before you act, and pause a lot, best to be...
