- "The Floor is Lava" mode in Assassin's Creed 2. If you touch the ground for any non-necessary reason, you need to aggro a guard into killing you.
- Going through GTA IV without cheats or autosaves, with permadeath. If you die, delete your save and start over.
- Not buying anything with...
My 18th is coming up in a couple of months and unlike most people around my age who go out drinking and partying and whatnot, I've opted to simply get a few friends together for a bonfire in the backyard. I usually don't like to celebrate birthdays, but I guess some kind of effort is expected...
Hm... It's between
- Rocksteady for the Arkham series;
- Ubisoft for loads of different games (most notably the Far Cry and Assassin's Creed franchises); or
- Klei Entertainment for numerous indie titles, including Don't Starve, Shank, and Mark of the Ninja.

Until I got my Xbox, the most recent game I was playing was 1995's Donkey Kong Country 2 (the game is as old as I am), but I still play it today via emulators.

Military-grade bullets from the Metro series. The scarcity and necessity of these rounds give them real value and reflect the world you find yourself in.
You're upset at a game publisher because they're creating new IPs instead of diluting the same one year after year? The exact opposite thing that people ostracise Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed for doing? That's just bizarre to me. Valve hasn't lied to anyone because they never once said that...
Rarely I'll watch a serious Total Biscuit video describing what the game is about if I intend on buying it, especially if it's an indie game.
But laughs are much more common. The Roosterteeth guys are my favourites for Let's Plays. I can't count how many hours I've wasted well-spent in...
That's a good question and I've wondered it myself. All the Orth business got me worried, what with a Microsoft employee defending the idea of always-on, and Microsoft itself being ominously quiet just made it worse. I doubt they've just removed an always-on functionality during the time they...
Brilliant. Hopefully this will teach people not to jump the gun whenever a rumour surfaces. I've seen people already boycott the next Xbox based on the always-on rumour alone. Unless anything comes directly from Microsoft, I don't believe anything I hear regarding the new console.
