I just avoid all this by waiting till I can get it secondhand. That way I don't feel bad if I decide I then want the DLC. Or I'm lucky enough (ala ME2) to get a copy that has all the DLC in it already. I very rarely buy new games (only a couple times a year - Heavy Rain was one. Batman was another.

My feeling is that of equality: If some girl decides to go for me, the first time, she gets a warning, the next time, she winds up on her head. Loved Oblivion, have the expansion packs. Beat the main quest. Still playing it. Tried FO3 several times and just couldn't get into it. Maybe perhaps, for me, it is too close to something that might actually happen, whereas Oblivion isn't.

Well, consider Heavy Rain. With no censorship, that is certainly a risk, and one I can wait to take. This episode was flat out funny and really well done. I think I will pick up Bayonetta but skip Darksiders. After all, hot chick that gets nude and kills with her hair? bonus!

Just remember, not everything has to be about magic, orcs or killing things. In Eve, you can certainly become an expert fighter pilot, but you can also mine, research, become an arms dealer, manufacture weapons for whatever war is currently raging, or pretty much anything you want to be. Sure...
