Agalloch are great, as are Pelican, brilliant melodic metal bands. A little less heavy, I Am Arrows, Metric, The Temper Trap are all good too.

Steel Battalion for Xbox. That game was immense, the special controller even more so.

Blind Guardian - "And Then There Was Silence" is 14:08, and totally awesome. Agalloch - "In The Shadow Of Our Pale Composition", "The Melancholy Spirit", "The Hawthorne Passage", "Fire Above, Ice Below" and "Hallways Of Enchanted Ebony". All are beautifully melodic, I would recommend anything...
