Did you ever try Noita? It has a ridiculous amount of stuff to explore, so much that you could beat the game and not even see 1/8 of its content, or even realize it exists.

I mean, if they wanted to do it quick and dirty, they could have just put the GBA ROM on a DS cart and ran it with the GBA emulator. You're right, it wouldn't have met Nintendo's requirement for DS BS, but it would have been simple and few people probably would have complained.

The DS was backwards compatible with GBA games, it couldn't have been that hard to port.

They could have just ported it to DS like Ace Attorney. The last Squeenix JRPG I played was Bravely Default, which I hated. Like I said in the paragraph you quoted, I don't really enjoy JRPGs that much anymore. I'll keep your recommendation in mind if I ever get the urge for another.

Finally finished replaying Mother 3. I first played this game in 2010 and thought it was amazing. I was blown away by all the NPC dialogue. In most JRPGs you talk to an NPC in a town and they say their couple lines of dialogue and that's the extent of their character. In Mother 3 the NPC...

This playthrough of Pokemon Crystal Legacy is really lucky. Not only did I get a shiny Cleffa from the odd egg, but I just got Pokerus at the very moment where I need to grind a few levels. My pokemon are all right around lvl 30 and Pryce's 5 lvl 37 pokemon are wiping the floor with me.

I guess for people who want to explore the game and discover little things like that for themselves rather than the people who want to progress down a checklist.

On Playstation you can press a button to reveal the hidden trophy. I'm not sure if there are any exceptions.

After a bit of a hiatus I've begun Exodus. It's starting off strong as Moses has just murdered a man and buried him in the sand. You might think that this is sinful and should preclude him from being one of God's chosen, but you'd be wrong.

My PHANPY evolved and suddenly I regret my choices. DONPHAN is a cool looking POKéMON and you can get PHANPY quite early so I forgot just how bad the backsprite is. I'm looking forward to looking at this for the rest of the game now:

I grew up with these games so it doesn't bother me at all. In fact, it was a long time before I entered a name that wasn't all caps on a game that let you enter a name, maybe 14 or so. It just seemed right to have important names in all caps to me.
