Apparently, the entire video game industry just doesn't want to release anything in like ALL of next year because of GTA6. Not just big open world games about urban crime, but like cozy games and platformers and everything.
They better release their game sooner or later. If it's already done and it's not even within a two month release of GTA6, then ship it out and get it over with.

The months right before and after GTA6- just avoid games media, folks. It will be content creators bitching about having too many games to play, and anything with a 30+ hour campaign will suffer from reviewers who feel they're time is wasted by anything that isn't amazing or "challenging the art of games" or some crap. A lot of games and studios are going to be devastated by this.
I always have these type of people on ignore. So nothing has changed.

When it comes to single plane old-school brawlers, Splatterhouse 1 & 2 are the top dogs.

People are gonna buy Switch 2, don't let what you see on the socials tell you otherwise.
That take is ice cold. We know people are going to buy it. I’m of the opinion that the best thing that can happen for Nintendo - in my country at least - is that Sony announces the cessation of the PS5 Slim’s production because once those are gone, the value proposition of the Switch 2 goes up because now it’s only true competitor is $500 more expensive, not $50 (or even cheaper if you do some savvy shopping).

I do think though, that it’s going to have bigger install base at Christmas because the cost will mean most families are going to spread the cost out over the six months between release and December.

Probably going to a price drop during the holiday season. Probably just going to get it at that time.

Gungrave GORE is the perfect chill out and shoot things game with all of the proper updates since 2023 and last year. I also don't have a problem with them tweaking the combat system, allowing Grave to run like he did in Overdose, and I love the Full Break Combo System. It does not make the game too easy. You can still die on Hard and especially GORE difficulty, if you get lazy or too risky.

Literally not the point of what people are talking about
I know and already get the point. I know Season 2 updates are a shit show. I'm just saying I won't be touching the online much at all, regardless of quality or making things worse. I ain't paying for PS+. That is my point.

No PS+ huh? That kinda sucks. I remember it being a lot better. You could get some stuff at a huge discount or basically own it free, and they were some good games. Like Zone Of The Enders

Sony over charges like crazy and the free games aren't worth it. I'll still get games on sale, but most of those don't even require PS+. Steam is usually better anyway and I can go online without having to pay $70+ for an additional online service.

all stealth games are improved by letting the player go prone. don't matter the game, don't matter the character...get that soft old yellow belly down to the ground goddamn it! been playing that assassin's creed shadows lately and nothing makes me feel like a kunty lil sneak ninja more than flattening my tired stubborn meat sack to the roof surface while enemies scour their horizons for that accidental butt cheek they thought they saw poke up by the corner which definitely wasn't mine! Last of us, improved by prone. Metal gear solid 5 I cheesed the whole fucking thing by melodramatically flinging the puppy fat to the ground every time a guard rudely spotted me. prone make stealth good. make more prone in stealth. then...profit??

Serious Sam: 3BFE is by the far the worst game in the franchise. The GBA game is better than that. Not from the lack of trying mind you. The GBA game is pretty decent.

Sonic Forces I popped back in, I still consider it a good game, despite the large production trouble. Some levels could have lasted longer, but they are still fun levels, even if most of them are pretty basic or standard fair. I will say the Classic Sonic levels are still the weakest though. Especially that fucking auto scroller being Classic Sonic's last solo level. WTF was SEGA thinking there?

From what I've read, the game started as a modern military shooter that Croteam was developing for a third party, only for them to pull out of production. Croteam decided to turn what they had into a Serious Sam game rather than toss it out.

You are correct and it shows so much in the first 30-35% of the game.

The original Legend of Zelda might have the most insane method of saving ever to appear in a game:

Yes. To save you need to access the subscreen with controller 1, then press up and A on controller 2, then you can select save with controller 1. If you don't have two controllers you need to switch the controller between the two ports. Yeah...
