I know it is not Japanese....but he is very inspired by their work (see link to interview with author that I have posted) and he has copied the style of a manga (size, cells, and basically whole construction and look of books). That is why I refer to it as a "manga" instead of a graphic novel...
It is at least very, very manga inspired. Don't believe it...read this....

I would have abilities with fire/heat because I am a bit of a pyro. But not just the normal ones....I am talking down to molecular levels. So many, many things you can do with energy transfer.
I love blades and fire batons.
I also have a devious side, and I am good at tactics and problem...
They aren't British.....they are just British actors....
British actors (or at least the British accent) are the generic stand in for all Europeans...current or ancient.
Like in Gladiator...
or Troy...
or Alexander...
or just about any movie set in Europe...
This one just makes me ask why.....
Why does the teapot have a giant hole in the bottom?
Why does the prince sleep in slippers? (Or boots, or socks, or whatever the hell those are.)
Why does the prince's pajama top have buttons on the front and the back?
This is what I get for paying too...
