As usual he pretty much sums up what annoyed me about the game. He isn't missing much from not trying the multiplayer though. Apart from the usual batch of Xbox LIVE freaks and their tiresome abuse.
The story was just completely unbelievable to the point where I was sitting there at the end...
I have it on my rent list, but I tried both demos and to be honest I got bored very quickly with hitting things with the hammer. He is completely correct about the buildings, they look like they are made out of paper but it seems that you need to sit their for 30 minutes smashing the thing...
I am guessing he had to be negative to keep the majority of fans happy, The game was pretty good for a film tie in (All be it a 20 year old film) However the difficulty curve was steep, especially the last 30 minutes of the game. That bit was a case of 'retard round up'. The amount of times the...
I especially like the achievement for beating the c*ap out the Wii fit board no less than the Wii deserves.
I can easily believe that even when confronted with the latest screen shots/videos and the total time wasted fans would still be defending the developers to the hilt. This game should...
I paid £28 for this at release so under the RRP of most game, I knew it was going to be a bit average anyway but I must say I was pleasantly surprised and I think that it isn't as unforgiving as made out, would you sit next to an open door even if your where supposedly hidden?
Sometimes the...
Madworld was one of my next games to play on the Wii and I even had a pre-order. Fortunately I saw a YouTube clip of someone playing it showing their frenzied waggling and how detached from the game it was and thought I would pass and cancelled my pre-order. My Wii still lies in unplugged pieces...
Its not really Battlefield 3 though, its more like a download only version of 1942 by the sounds of it. With new levels and an updated engine. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing as the original game was probably one of the better versions.
Its easy to say all FPS games are the same, but then...
I pretty much agree with everything mentioned, though I didn't even think the story levels where great. I liked the first few ones but the camera and the 2.5D levels was determined to make me fall into a fire pit or suchlike that I couldn't see until it was too late.
User content for most...
Yahtzee is back on top form, pretty much agrees with what I think about the game. Oh and I like the use of the word stabby.
The lepers and beggars are annoying, usually just use the hidden blade when I get sick of them. Now if you didn't get arrested for doing it in real life.
He doesn't bash games, just tells it like it is. See some of the other reviews where he has been quite nice about them, see Orange Box. But to be honest if he wasn't scathing it wouldn't be funny!
The whole Zelda thing is getting old now, Ocarina will still be my favourite. Okami was a...
